There is a couple on Facebook Marketplace in the Columbus, Ohio area who are giving away Granite slabs of various sizes. I saw at least a dozen in the 18 x 24" size. They would really appreciate getting rid of them and are asking the right price; free!

Tandy's Leathercraftlibrary page has a lot of mixed-up links for the various free doodle pages, pattern packs, ebooks, etc., that they offer. (When you click on the item you want to read, it gives the right description but when you click on the Read Now link, other patterns appear.) For those who can't go through each page to find the pattern they wanted, attached are two versions of the same file. Each file contains clickable links for all 999 of them. The one ending in .docx should work in Microsoft Word. The one ending in .rtf should open in Wordpad. In either file, click Ctrl-F to search for the name of the one you want, or go one by one and download. You should be able to just click on any of the items and have it open the webpage. Don't forget to save each one you want. This should not violate any rules or laws, as it's just a list of their own links. Enjoy! -JL leathercraftlibrary_links-210803.docx leathercraftlibrary_links-210803.rtf

Hello. Im currently working on my personal Portfolio, so I'm including some Leathercrafting stuff. Here is the template and video for a simple Card holder (up to 6 cards). It comes with a web 3d configurator so you can test different leather types, colors, thread, etc. (If it is slow try to make your browser window smaller to reduce resolution) Video: 3D configurator: https://www.raulreyes3d.com/vch02a3d Pattern https://www.raulreyes3d.com/tutorials/2020/5/9/making-a-card-holder-vch02a

So I have a bunch of wood. I just made a stitching clam (Pics below, not great but it will work) I already have wood cut for another and enough to make at least 4 more kike it. I also want to make 4 (1 for me) stand up clams also. Literally standing on the floor 4ft tall out of 2x6x8 cedar boards. Free wood, a saw, a drill, and router to you... Help for me. I even have a few hinges if you are not particular. Win Win I am tired of drilling an screwing everything to my table to hold it still. Anyone up for a Pony Party? You bring the bolts & HW, I used a 5 and 6 inch in these pics. Here is a thread with ideas I had, and here is what I made. PM me or respond here. No staining involved this way we are done in 1 day. http://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/78885-time-to-replace-the-shetland-ponyfoal/

Hello, i am just starting out and i figured out real fast that this is a VERY expensive hobby starting up, but I've found and made some things to cut cost that i wanted to share with yal to help out, ill label whats free, and what i payed for and how much. 1. FREE... wine box from any liquor store.just ask them if they have one to give to you, they just throw them out. Makes a tool holder, storage box.. anything you want, just be creative. 2. CHEAP...Bar soap containers. 1$ at walmart... for holding all your small stuff you want to keep separate. Like the swivel knife and stamps. 3. CHEAP/FREE.Trash bags/walmart bags. Used to lay down under leather when dying. Be careful with walmart bags though, alot of times they'll have holes and not as flat. CHEAP... tool storage boxes.. bought a pack of 4 of them at walmart for 9 bucks. Good for keeping things organized. FREE/CHEAP... old white t-shirts.. instead of throwing away the old white work shirts. Keep them cut them up. Good for tons of stuff.. buffing towels, speading glue and dye, what ever you can think of. CHEAP... stanley box knife. Couple bucks at wal mart and you can get 50 blades for 5 bucks i believe. FREE/CHEAP... BOOKS! Scribd.com 8 bucks a month and you get a ton of books(including al stohlman)..you can also download them onto your phone, using your free 30 day trial(wink, wink).. and if you cancel membership before the month is over you dont pay a dime. Again (wink wink) its not letting me put up the pics so if you want to see them, or have any questions, send me a message and ill send them to you somehow! Addition! Ill add stuff as i think of them and do them... The internet/youtube!! I have already learned a ton of stuff off youtube, and when you have a better understanding of what your doing and how to do it you'll waste less products and save money... Tandy leathers offers a free beginner's class go take it!!

I just finished making this pattern, Then I realized, Whats the point of making a pattern and not sharing it with everyone. I hope you guys enjoy the pattern and make some use of it. A small side note, I did not include how to fasten this mask to your face. I will leave that part open-ended. Because there is no correct way to do so. Also, I had to upload as a PNG. Guess they dont like use sharing vector files... Even though that would make this all so much easier.
