Members Cody C Posted August 16, 2022 Members Report Posted August 16, 2022 Haven't been very active on here for a few years but still making stuff. Recently made this for a buddy of mine that wanted a right hand cross draw for his gunslinger rig. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Quote
Members Simplejack1985 Posted August 16, 2022 Members Report Posted August 16, 2022 Nice work. I have a chunk of saddle skirting left I wanna make a 2 loop mexican style holster for my old blackhawk. Quote

CFM chuck123wapati Posted August 16, 2022 CFM Report Posted August 16, 2022 very nice rig, i like that wide lacing you don't see it often enough anymore and that shooter makes a sweet little package for a crossdraw. Quote
Members Gezzer Posted August 16, 2022 Members Report Posted August 16, 2022 Very nice ! Is the stitching at the bottom for a toe plug ? Quote
Members Cody C Posted August 16, 2022 Author Members Report Posted August 16, 2022 Thank you, I appreciate the praise from ya'll. Ya, he was pretty happy with it, which also makes me happy. No there is not toe plug, I never liked those because of the fact that dirt or other stuff can get down in there and sit and its difficult to clean out. I ended up having to make my own wide lace to go on it, cause he wanted it modeled after the main holster on his rightside. Problem was it was a custom made holster his father had done back in the 80's and the lacing was wide. Quote
Members Wild Bill46 Posted September 16, 2022 Members Report Posted September 16, 2022 Great looking for sure !!! Like Chuck the lacing is not seen much these days, and you did it WELL ! Come to think of it, I do recall a Bruce Cheney video for wide lace stitching, but I think it was of a knife sheath ? Was worth watching though. Quote
