So sorry for my absence of late. I caught a nasty case of the flu that has been going around and it went to pneumonia. I've been in the hospital twice since Christmas and the rest of the time I've been too weak to do much. Starting to feel like my old self and hope to be back soon

Gracious, my friend. Sorry to hear about your illness and will certainly include you in my prayers.

Not a fun experience and we need your expertise on the site. You have made a tremendous amount of folks very happy with your talents.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and all the best.

God Bless.

That's a terrible way to start the new year! I hope you feel better soon.

My prayers are also with you and I know what you went through; it hit me at the beginning of November and didn't clear out until just before Christmas, and mine didn't go as far as yours did. Knocked me to the ground but I eventually came back fighting and I know you are too. Rest well and when you get to full steam, we will see what your mind has created.

So sorry that you have been sick so much. I have enjoyed every post you have made and learn so much from them. I too understand sickness slowing things down for you. This past year we found out my wife's cancer had returned and had moved into her spine. It is hard to do work when she is so sick and we have 3 young kids. I will say though that leatherworking is my refuge.

Sounds like you got the nasty thing that's been going around here. I know someone who's managed to dislocate a rib from all the coughing he did when he had it, and someone else I know was hallucinating voices because she ended up having a fever for nearly a week. Crazy stuff! Glad to hear you're on the mend from it. :)
