Dunluce Report post Posted November 14, 2016 Olena, I am planning to make my first bag for my wife and I would like it to be something along these lines (if it is half as good as yours I will be pleased). I am working out my own pattern at the minute, but could I just ask you what type and weight of leather did you use?

It was a cow skin, I am buying some offcuts from local shop, they sell leather for apparel and furniture, not sure what weight, I think it good enough to be a chair or sofa as well

Men under estimate the importance of feet on purses for women... I did... a friend (several that is) corrected me until I learned it, now I just have to remember to remind myself to include them when I build a bag. Without feet on a bag, it makes it so much more difficult to put deep scratches on your car's roof... That is a beautiful and stylish bag with superb attention to detail. Anyone would be proud to say they designed/made it.
