Throw me in the 40's bucket too. I'll be 43 in September. Your 40s are certainly one of those cool segments of life. I feel like I know enough to know I know way less than I thought I did.

Glad you made this thread Mutt. Kinda cool.

I will turn 65 this year. Half the time, I think, 'how did I ever get to be SO OLD? I don't FEEL like I'm ready for retirement.

The other half of the time, I'm thinking, 'well, you're getting too old for this s**t!'

Yep, the other half of the time finally won over for me, retired in December. GREAT DECISION!

So much leather...so little time.

Glad you dig it, Munk.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Wait what would I do with a corvette?  Is there leather that needs redone or tooling work in it....oh I know they must need a mechanics tool roll made for it

...this is puzzling :)

That's the truth isn't it?!!  I remember that age pretty well.  Life experiences  (having your ass handed to you) have a way of showing a person that they don't know quite as much as they thought they did.  I'll be 52 in August, and feeling every one of those years most of the time.

If I had back every dollar I've spent on "this", I could buy several!

Depends on who you ask.  If you check my driver's license I'm 52.  My brain still thinks I'm 25, my body knows I'm at least 52-some days a lot older,  and my wife and daughter are both convinced I'm about 12.
