Members PappyJoe Posted August 31, 2019 Members Report Posted August 31, 2019 Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I want to make a Sporran for my son for Christmas. Does anyone know of a Sporran Kit that's available? I did find a free pattern but there are really no instructions and I like instructions I can print out. Thanks Quote

Members AA3JW Posted August 31, 2019 Members Report Posted August 31, 2019 Depends on the size you want to make. Here is one I made for a buddy of mine who wears his kilt quite often. Made it from several patterns I found. Quote

Members Sheilajeanne Posted September 1, 2019 Members Report Posted September 1, 2019 (edited) That's AMAZING!! That factory was HUMONGOUS!! I worked in factories during the summer when I was a student. I shudder to see how little protection there was for the workers to keep their clothing or hands away from moving belts, stamping machines and other dangerous equipment. I assume the casting was done by the lost wax method, using wax molds that melted when the molten metal was poured in? I've used steel bearings to clean out the inside of Coleman lantern gas reservoirs (founts) but until I saw the scene in that film where they use bearings to polish the machine arms, I had NO IDEA just how efficiently the bearings can do the job! But that link can never be posted enough jimi.. Plus, there are people who missed it before, ( like Sheilajeanne ) and new ones will arrive, who may not have seen it, so..it should be posted at least every 3 months or so..That I have a copy of it and many others there ( diverse subjects ) is not important Quote
