Just adding on here....I think I would need a pressure foot to get closer to d-rings and such, or closer to a edge...the weaver video showed these things for the 205...but of course as we know now it is ( the 105) not a walking foot...can I still change foot...?? JimBob
-
this is a standard 105-64 and the way I see it and I have seen a video from Weaver on the 205 series which has walking foot!!>> mine does not have a walking foot, the needle walks and the singel presserfoot is helping!!?? So parts should fit?? What parts/feet do you have?? James
-
No, the way I understand this the 105-64 is needle feed and does not have two seperate feet bars like I have seen on the 205-64??!! James

cool job, especially liked the tip of your Tennis shoes in most picture....HiHiHi... OK, ther bag is great for a quick job, these kind of bags are "hip" right now...I got tons of people need one of them !! Ur flaps would be better as a whole part of the sides, keeps seems out of weather and does not wear out to fast...sides out of lighter material is Ok if it keeps somewhat the original shape....u have some folds in there...but no biggie...I like the outer front stitched to the sides better when lay top over top, urs is inside to inside...top over top seems more clean look and gives more ( better shape, form, cleaner look...) All in all this is a great side bag!!!! well done!! I have been doing many bags for all kind of scooters...u done a bro a heck of a favor!!! JimBob www.berkheimarts.com

All well said, if you glue it right, flaten it out, use a soft edge scraper and scrape it down, let it dry u have a perfect flat suface ( especially when using veg tanned leather...) Sewing is just as been said, not to much tension, cut a light channel, start from same side both ways and u be fine...dont force it, let it go its natural way>>>> JimBob
