just by smelling and guessing it I would say this is a electrical burnisher/waxer for edges or to burn small grooves....?!?
did I smell it......??
Jimbob

WD-40 is NOT a lubricant!!! It is a protective film and as said it has solvents....when u check back in a few weeks it will have gummed up, because the film is still there and solvent whent into the air....WD-40 has been specially invented to cover/film/seal metal parts on rockets in the 40ties or so, never meant to be a lubricant that carries a oil film in between to metals to prevent ceasing or abreasion.....Ohhh and that German Balistrol stuff works wonder on German air rifles and dog fleas....@@@@ Not on sewing machines....!!!
Hope I spelled all this right.....and call Bob Kovar he has Gallons of the right stuff to use....
Aloha....
Jimbob
nice work.....always good to jump right in!!
Ur edges are still little ruff, try to cut more precise....also sand and buff/polish/burnish ur edges....careful with the edge dye...I love the little spots!!
U done well, and the next ones will be better and then ones after that will be wonderful....keep er going!!

this maybe another silly question, but I have a like swivel thingy on the left side on the machine, where you can take the cover plate of and access the needle bar and such....its like a little stubby and swivels somewhat...??? what's that for???
Thanks for the info on the lifter....I can live with the foot lift but be nice to have both!!
Thanks
James
Hello
Any idea why my Singer has no lifter....? Only a bar, which I guess was conected to a chain, so you can lift the pressure foot by foot.
I wonder if I can attach a manual pressure foot lifter....where I can lift the pressure foot with my left hand....like on other machines....?
Thanks so much!!
anybody eventually has a nice pattern for motorcycle chaps......shotgun style.....???
Been looking and tried to come up with something....no such luck, yet....

Jimbob
