I got the shingles in my early 20s attacked my spine started as a rash on my shoulder blades. soon my back was covered, at the three week mark I could not bend at the waist or turn my torso due to sever pain., very debilitating lasted for two months. doctors can give you pain relief and maybe prescribe medication given to immune deficiency persons but the bottom line is you will feel pain it attacks your nervous system network on different parts of your body and it will end. hopefully the drugs will keep you from scratching as you don't want to aggravate it as it can spread during the time it starts to form blistered hives. and heavy scaring can occur if it gets out of control. there is no cure just try not to scratch and spread it. no need for a doctor except to prescribe pain relief... sorry for your pain but it will be over eventually

I have a pair of sweet custom made sting ray boots, these are a mens size 6 medium to wide with a nice sharp toe. the pearl is medium to large with the nice jewel as you can see in the photo. what I really want is to trade these for a pair of well made stylish engineer (or similarly styled) boots, womens size 7-7.5, medium to med-wide width. they don't have to be brand new but they do need integrity in craftsmanship. if anyone wants to trade cash I will take $300.00 I paid over $400 the person they were purchased for cannot wear them (darn shame). thank you for looking and hopefully they can/will service some lucky individual and I can have something I will enjoy. crissy

hello everyone curious,,,,, would anyone mind elaborating on the entire process of how one should go about cleaning leather with this solution? salutations -
its a scam, and happens to me on craigslist! all the time I just delete. I buy with checks often to avoid the credit card stranglehold, usually tell seller to let check clear and always offer referrals from the site like this one that I have already done business with. no matter what the situation there seems to be a criminal available to scam anyone willing to take the chance.

I concur, thank you very much!

see I thought the rtc was a wax, I didn't realize it was water based... thank you -
hello leather community, I would like to start with a giant thank you for all the warmth and respect shown on this site making the introduction to leather craft fun and inspiring! I am going to beat on this horse a little about finishes. I have been using resolene as a resist and finish but honestly I am not happy with the out come as the dye bleeds thru when I test it with water and I have read in the past post about this being a common issue. what I would like a bit more clarification on is the bees natural finish, bees rtc, it seems these two are able to stop the dye/color from bleeding onto clothes or skin like for belts and cuffs. so is it the rtc that I need or the bees natural wax finish. a few of my projects are going to wet environments although I simply don't want bleeding no matter what the conditions.... and then there is the simple function of body sweat from the wearer. when my projects are dry the dye (feibings professional oil dye) will stay put after atom wax, or mink oil. or resolene but I am having a hell of a time keeping in the dye once I splash a little water on it. I have gone far back in the archives to read on this topic and I have still one question how can I keep the dye in the leather once the water hits it. I understand about the lacquer finishes being an option but I think I am more interested in a wax finish as I understand better the flexibility and barrier abilities of wax much better then lacquer I will apologize now for the redundancies but I am frustrated and I just have to beat on this to find a solution., thank you to anyone able to shine a big light on this helping to clarify the bee natural product right for the job from the first hand users. my steps are as follows: * carve * dry * oil * slick edges * dry * oil again * dry * antique or dye * dry * tankote * dry * burnish/finish edges * finish (the mystery solution) no bleeding???

hello, when you say "must buy the spray bottles" are you saying that saddle-lac comes in a spray bottle too or you put it in a spray bottle.? I am coming to the end of my fuse as the finishing stage the final coat is my only problem that I can't seem to get under control. thank you crissy -
hello everyone, may I ask about this topic? the skidmores leather product, dose this method of tooling, drying, oiling, drying, antiquing/dyeing, drying, then the grand finale the 6OZ SKIDMORES BIKER EDITION BEESWAX LEATHER WATERPROOFING CREAM can go on the leather as the final step for like a belt? as well as the above mentioned items? thank you I look forward to this possibility of no longer fighting the finishing stage of my projects. crissy
