I use the program that comes with all computers. it is in the"my Computer "section. go to accesories and click on paint. If you want to make a copy and keep the original you can at this point. save it as Original. on the tool bar there is a section called image ,click on it. it will show you different items. Go to stretch and skew. and click on it . depending on the size picture you are workingg on I usually go 50% X 50% and click ok. It shrinks the picture down. Click on save as and save as name of pic 1 to know what it is on you computer.I usualy save it in "My Documents, that way I know where to look for it. Most if not all computers will have this program on it.just look for it. it is hard to screw up your computer unless you just click away with out looking. Most of the time you can undo any problem you made by clicking on undo. lol . Gary or if you have problems and when it gets to this point run like hell. until then

That is a great job. I love your hand sewing. It is one of the best I have seen.that would compete with any sewing machine out there.your tooling is great and every thing is balanced .Top Job.Thank you for sharing your work and really look forward to more of it. Please post more pictures. Gary -
Particle I do leather covered boxes. I would be glad to talk you thru it if you wanted .Here is a sample of what i do. I made these for my Gomph tools but could be used to store anything. just depends on what you want to put in it.Since I am a wood worker also. it is easy to make it any size. Gary

My brother-in-law asked me to help make an award winning trailer that housed a stereo for the lowrider bike his son and he have been working on for awhile. It has gold platyed rims, spokes, and fenders. I used a white upholstery leather for the main box. Ised my 3 lobed scallop punch to make the black gymp strips that adorn the edges and used solid brass tacks. the seat of the bike has the same white leather as the trailer and I put a punched oval with the family name on it sewed on and the solid brass tacks used again. there is an embossed lowrider emblem on the back of the seat. .the stero trailer had a car battery in it and the stereo could be heard 2 blocks away in parades. won second place in most of the shows they went to .They young man in the pictures is my brother-in-law son. enjoy the pictures. Thanks for the response from every one. I took care of the problem. I contacted Kevin at Springfield leather. It had been a couple of years since we had done business but he remembered me and i will be buying all my leather from Kevin from now on. I only used tandy as a last resort and because i get my stuff at dealer cost. But If the stuff is junk you could give it away and it would still be junk.lol Kevin is very happy with tandy /TLF because it has sent him so much business. My money will go to Kevin from now on and will leave the chinese store like tandy/TLF to the hobbist and start buying American again from Kevin. He might inmport some stuff but at least it has been thru a quality control person unlike the chinese crap that tandy/TLF sells

Tim your funny. I do accept the mission the only problem is I need Tequlia bottles,Patron to be exact lol.I will help TK but I am collecting patron bottles. . as long as I keep the wife drunk I am the best looking man in the world lol -
Rickey. i have an old gomph that has the same problem. i have had it soaking in a light oil for a couple months and still will not turn. I will leave it there a little longer. You might try that. as for the teeth missing use a small rattial file to refile new teeth on it. Take it to the rig with you and play with it when you are bored

Looks like i will be out of commisions for abot 6 to 8 months. I am going under the knife and dremel on Jan 20th on my right shoulder. i have a couple of tears and a couple of bone spurs on my roter cuff ,I hope it all comes out ok. Been suffering for three years now. Got hurt on the job when I worked for hobby lobby as a frame manager and when I got hurt managment refused to file a report. I did not realize how bad I was hurt. got fired a couple weeks later when they brought in a new manager and he fired everyone that was making more than minuim wage. I was the higest paid employee in the company at 10.00 that was not upper management so I went. filed a workmans comp and was denied because managment refuse to file the accident report. long story short it took me three years to get insurance to get this fixed.I have never nor will never darken the door of hobby lobby again. I hate that chinese store. Doctor told me it will be 8 months to be fixed again.Iwill never be 100% but at least I will be out of pain.for the next month I will do as much as my body will allow me ,and then Iwill be on the site alot chatting and giving advice and dreaming of the time I can do leather again. lol
