"Now is that a bit of the Irish in ya ....or just the R next to the T on yoo keyboard." Well it was a typo, but it could also fit lol
-
Will do !! I lived in Rocky quite a while back. The Dunmore Horel was my haunting ground and I was working out at Lakes Creek. Probably about 1981

The Art Gallery there might be able to point you in the right direction

Make Your Own Maul: This is what I did: Go to Ebay and buy one of these: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Replacement-78mm-Diameter-69mm-Length-Pallet-Truck-Nylon-Wheel-/254166070446?hash=item3b2d7a74ae Take it along to your local hardware and look for a round piece of timber that fits it tightly. Tip: I bought a shovel handle that is tapered at one end. It fitted nice and tight, then I just cut it to length. You and make the handle fancy if you like but I left it as it was. Instant Maul

The great thing about Tony's patterns is he usually supplies a video tutorial and if you have problems he has setup a support Facebook group. Also they can be easily modified to suit. All this makes it great for learners like myself to produce a quality item.

I an a learner myself and I found those patterns to be great even for a learner. I made that backpack and it turned out pretty food if I say so myself. Video tutorial for it here

There is a Facebook Group for selling and swapping tools in OZ https://www.facebook.com/groups/872546072765532/

Tony the pattern King Just leave off the copper embellishments if you don't want them. This one could easily be converted to a small backpack. But he does have other backpack patterns There is also a video tutorial for this pattern https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/696402553/sling-bag-pattern-leather-diy-pdf?ref=shop_home_active_3&pro=1

It is a wheel (without bearing) off the front of a pallet truck.

I bought one of these off ebay. Took it to a Hardware Shop and got a tapered handle to fit. Cut to length. Instant maul. If you have access to a wood lathe you can make a fancier handle. The one I made weighs in @ 520 Grams https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Replacement-78mm-Diameter-69mm-Length-Pallet-Truck-Nylon-Wheel-/254166070446?oid=351937454271
