  1. I had some leather rolled in a closet that happens to be where I store my guitars. We have been having very very low humidity and I noticed guitars going out of tune ect a sure sign of needing moisture. I ran a humidifier in there for a few days. I happened to need some leather and noticed it had absorbed some humidity and was really supple and stamped well. Almost felt like when it is very well cased. Guitars also came back to life in tone and stayed in tune.

  3. My KMG runs with 2 inch contact wheels and I had a 1/2 belt on it allowing some of the smooth aluminum wheel exposed so on a whim i burnished the edge of a sheath on it, wow really did work great. couple minutes later and a antler rub touch up and its shiny n slick

  6. I use water and handle of swiss army knife, lots of elbow grease
  7. Damascus, or properly termed Pattern welded steel is only worth the parent steels and the proper heat treat of such. Pattern welded steel is all looks and no better or worse then however the person could make said item in straight steel. after that, its all looks.

  10. I made two a few years ago from Chucks plans when I first got to know him. I think I spent a total of 6$ on materials and maybe a hour of work,that was including the nice oak boards I made them from.

  13. How does whom? I made both knife and sheath. Finish is sanded to 1200 grit and buffed on handle
  14. A butterfly sheath will give that knife a custom fit
  15. Been massive busy with horses and chasin moo moos but i managed to finish this "Aussie Stalker" in honor of where this knife and sheath will live Latest knife and sheath package. The chatoyance(3D Shimmer effect in different angles of light) is amazing in this peice of wood.Im pretty happy with the whole package and here are the specifics W-2 high carbon steel hand forged blade W/600 grit finish Nickel silver stacked guard Stabilized Maple burl Custom sheath with built in fire starter holder and Montana made firestarter.
