I am not an expert but I agree the tension is to high... check the threading to see that it is in the middle of the tension discs....and didn't slip out and go behind a disc

So... I want a set of #10 Vergez pricking irons... but I am really financially challanged. So I look on ebay and there are too many varieties of the Chinese tools. Can anyone with more knowledge direct me to the ones that are closest to the Vergez Blanchard ones??? Thanks Lew

I have had the same problem..... It gets a bit better when I dilute it by 50% and spray it in an airbrush for and even coat.

I paint very small leather edges with a 1mm awl and also use the blue gluing tools from rockler to paint edges

look at the harbor freight woodworking bench... when on sale it makes a good bench

really sucks but I use the living room.... commercial sewing machine.. steady workbench butted up to the fireplace with presses and small machines bolted to it....Ahuge table on wheels for cutting. Then the dinning room tabs I use for assembly. Oh yeah a small couch and a tv... now where I store my supplies is another matter. I guess there will never be a spare room for friends to stay over... oh well then the 3 1/2 and 5 ton press in the garage plus a few other machines good luck Lew

what glue do you use?

just add a wallet chain or leather leash

key fobs... strap keepers... leather bookmarks.... and kids bracelets

sort the small pieces from the big pieces... bag them and sell them on ebay...
