  1. So the controller box has a problem - probably the fuse as you noted. If you have a voltmeter you can check to see what sort of voltage is present if you can access the contacts (both sides). If one side is line voltage, that would say to me, fuse is missing.
  2. Moved your post to "wanted" since it's not for sale.
  3. Much easier for my eyes to read. Better contrast!
  4. Suggest you join Leatherworker.net. This help wanted forum requires approval of nearly all posts. And you would have access to post in all forums.
  5. Good memory! I'm sure you are right about different suppliers. When cutting MDF with a circular saw, I've seen sparks fly. I would suppose that it may be from whatever grinders they are using, or some scrap that gets picked up from truck boxes, loader blades, or whatever during handling.
  6. Always ears up like the stamp
  7. I've seen bits of metal embedded in MDF. Fine for stropping since you're not cutting into it, really smooth.
  8. It would be nice to get his feedback. He/she hasn't been back here since Dec 11. So I suppose we won't get any more info from the OP. @hamim
  9. My first impression was a wolf. Don't know how I arrived at that!
  10. Depending on how you are cutting, sometimes the knife wants to follow the wood grain. Self healing cutting mats are nice as they are all marked out in measured squares making it easier to layout and cut straight lines with a guide rule.
  11. I don't see where you don't understand that I moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines. Home > Fabrication > Leather Sewing Machines It seems to appear from your post that you have visited this forum.
  12. Moved your post to leather sewing machines.
  13. If your files are too large to post here due to file size restrictions, you need to resize your files to fit. Follow this link for some helps and suggestions. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/15122-how-to-post-pictures-on-lw/?do=findComment&comment=551171 There are lots of Apps, software, and online tools available on the web, or even built into your device to enable you to reduce your file sizes. 800 pixels in the longest dimension is quite adequate. Smart phone screens and many monitors don't display high res files in high resolution. People that live on the fringes of the internet appreciate smaller file sizes and high res photos may take from 10 minutes to hours to download.

  15. You can post it here in the Marketplace > Items For Sale > Miscellaneous/Other Check the Marketplace rules here: https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/70-announcements/
  16. You would be more likely to get info from the OP than by quoting me. So you should tag the OP so he/she gets a notification. I have no information to share with you, nor to answer your questions. @hamim You have some questions to reply to.
  17. Since you use a translate app, you should translate back to English as this is the language for this site. Translated by Google Hello Are the proportions correct for recipe #1 for a harder product? 16 ounces liquid castile soap 5.4 ounces coconut oil 10.6 ounces beeswax
  18. According to the IP address, located in Winnipeg.
  19. Moved you post to leather sewing machines. You'll get more help here.
  20. @CatherineH Many people will not download unknown file types. And webp files don't display automatically. So please post jpg or png files.
  21. @Leathershark I just tagged you in this post in answer to your question. It is used to send a notification to a member. You can tag several members if need be when replying or asking for help. You type the "@" symbol followed by the user/member name and pick it out of the popup box. If you skipping picking it from the box, it will just be text with no notification to the member. Tagging a member or quoting (using the quote feature) a portion of the post will send a notification to the member. Sometimes members haven't setup notifications or they're not working, so tagging or quoting is helpful to ensure they get a notification.
  22. Try Grainger for arch punches. Individual sizes and set. https://www.grainger.ca/en/product/ARCH-PUNCH-1-1-4IN/p/GTL1271O?analytics=prodRecs&cm_sp=IDP-_-CAV-_-RR-_-PR-_-NT-NA-_-EN https://www.grainger.ca/en/product/ARCH-PUNCH-SET-NOT-TETHER-CAPABLE/p/WWG3ZG91 Not cheap, but you can get one or two at a time. I have a few from them. I tried a set of punches from Princess Auto and found them to be almost useless. Have been happy with the "General" brand from Grainger.
  23. Pictures might help get you an answer.
