  1. Try @bruce johnson and his website https://brucejohnsonleather.com/
  2. You can post it in the marketplace, business and estate sales. Include photos and descriptions. You might find someone that wants the unit complete instead of having to split it up. See the marketplace rules here https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/70-announcements/ https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/73-businesses-amp-estate-sales/
  3. Funny how I said I "moved" your post that you would think that. Communication sure has its pitfalls. So many miscommunications cause so many problems.
  4. Does your machine have a safety clutch, if so, did it trip?
  5. Reduce the size to 800 pixels in the longest dimension.
  6. I see a 45mm size that fits Tandy's rotary cutter blades.
  7. Please read the marketplace rules and conform. You must provide any information or restrictions on shipping, See the marketplace rules here https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/70-announcements/

    Intro

resize to 800 pixels in the longest dimension and post directly to this thread, this site.
  9. Pictures usually help. Make sure to resize them to 800 pixels in the longest dimension so you can post them directly to this site, this thread.
  10. Moved your post to Saddle Identification, Restoration & Repair
  11. You have made two related posts with the same title. Let's not fill the forums with new posts that should be kept in one thread. I have merged the two threads into one.
  12. Are you actually using rawhide or are you calling it rawhide as you haven't done anything to it yet? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rawhide_(material) for a little info on rawhide.
  13. If the leather is too thin, you won't be able to bury the knots.
  14. Why the double post? I moved your first (identical post) to Saddle construction. Please do not double post!! It breeds inconsistency, and people respond some to one, and others to the other. Kind of screws things up. I'm deleting your first post since no one has replied to it.
  15. Please read the marketplace rules and conform. You must provide any information or restrictions on shipping. Failure to conform may result in your ad being blocked. See the marketplace rules here https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/70-announcements/ I would suggest you choose a different username than FORSALE. It's confusing. Message @Johanna and ask her to change your username. Be ready with 2 or more names in case they are already taken.
  16. Moved your post to leather sewing machines
  17. Just quit! As Fred mentioned, it would destroy the continuity of the threads you have posted in. You have 55 posts to your name, so if they are all single posts to threads, you would be affecting 54 threads, not counting this one. Change your profile settings to shut off notifications, and just walk away.
  18. Yes there is. https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/9-patterns-and-templates/
  19. Even with being tagged above, the user hasn't been on site since July 25. So either not interested, or sold, or away from their computer. To me, when I look at the previous posts, they don't care. If there is no activity in a couple days, I will lock and move the post to Old/Sold.
  20. The edit button is only available for a limited time, maybe a couple hours. After that if you need something edited, just tag on a new post with explanation, or get a moderator to fix it if it has to be fixed.
  21. You need to quote or tag the person so they get a notification. See I quoted your post. Not everyone has their notifications set to notify them when someone posts on their thread. Tag someone by typing the @ symbol followed by their user name, and picking the username from the popup box. @BullSheathLeather you have a query.
  22. OP hasn't been back to this site since 3 days after posting the request.
  23. What's a decent price? $130 US https://www.abebooks.com/9780967964706/Sheridan-Style-Carving-Bill-Gardner-0967964709/plp
  24. Post are only able to be edited within some sort of time window, maybe a couple hours. Once that window closes, the user can't edit their posts. This is the standard programmed behaviour for this site. Not aimed at you or anyone in particular. But if you want to continue your rant against a particular supplier, I'd be happy to put you under moderation, which means all your posts would have to be approved by a moderator. Your choice.
  25. Have edited this thread to remove overtly religious comments. Just the same as politics has no place on this forum, same goes for your religious or sexual or antisocial preferences. This forum is about leather. Let's keep it that way. Thread is now locked.
