  1. IP address is Meridian.
  2. It was obvious you were referring to hand stitching and maybe you thought this forum was all about hand stitching. I was letting you know that it included machine stitching too. No problem.
  3. Service manual should have instructions on setting the check spring position.
  4. I see a parts list at https://www.supsew.com/search-results/?wpfb_s=46k46 But no instruction manual. Further above in this thread, @Constabulary said he has one of these machines. Maybe he has more information that can help you.
  5. The pin must be slightly tapered. Put some fingernail polish on it, tap it into place - gently. Clean any oil off the pin and out of the hole first before applying fingernail polish (or other retaining compound such as Loctite - various formulations like Loctite 290 thread locker). EDIT: Do you have a manual for your machine? Lots of manuals online for 20U33. Just looked at my 20U33. It doesn't have a pin. My machine is blue, from about 1975 if I remember right.
  6. @KeriHat The check spring is adjusted by rotating the assembly to the desired position before you tighten the retaining screw. Do a search for setting the check spring.
  7. @Tophee Moved to Tooling, Stamping & Carving Leather > Dyes, Antiques, Stains, Glues, Waxes, Finishes and Conditioners
  8. @Pink1977 moved your post to leather sewing machines since this is turning into a sewing machine discussion.

  10. Split your post off an unrelated thread. You'll get better response from properly titled and placed post than you will from contaminating another unrelated thread.
  11. You seem to add spam links to vendor sites every so often. Please provide info, not spam. Moved this thread to 3D Printers and Lasers
  12. This forum includes both hand and machine sewing. There is a separate forum for sewing machines where machine types, troubles, how to, problem solving are discussed.
  13. Moved your post to Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes.
  14. Moved to leather sewing machines. I think you may have better luck here.

  17. 10kW Generac at Home Depot $5000 CAN 22 kW $7500 CAN Auto Transfer switch 100A 120-240VAC $1200 CAN. Probably over sized, but a reference point for interest.
  18. You got it 2 minutes before I flagged it and blocked them from posting.
  19. You can try moistening the back a little, don't soak it, lay out on paper towel to absorb the moisture, place smooth plastic on top, piece of plywood on top of that, pile a bunch of books or other weights on top and leave it for a couple days. Any pattern in the material you place on top of the leather will transfer to the leather, so has to be smooth. If you are in an area with high humidity and warm that promotes mold growth, need to inspect after a few hours, air it out, and replace the weights and repeat.
  20. My son has a Generac 2200 kW on natural gas with auto transfer. He has 2 sump pumps in the basement and one in a well just outside the basement. His house is in an area close to a creek, and only has about 6" of top soil on gravel, the ground water level gets pretty high during mountain snow melt and rain in June each year. When they coincide, there is water from the creek across the road into his acreage. Power poles in his area have fallen over during these rains and floods knocking out power in the area. While we were putting in the generator, we got the heavy rain and huge mountain run off due to rain in the mountains. He had a 2" trash pump running continuous to keep the basement dry. The gas fitter wouldn't come out in the rain to make the last hook up, so we switched the generator to propane and brought in multiple propane bottles. Was a really stressful few days. Now it's all automated and fewer problems, but the gasoline trash pumps and hose are on standby just in case!
  21. Guests can't post pictures, but could give a link to a 3rd party site.
  22. Mount it on a piece of mat board used for framing pictures. Pick a complementary colour. Mat board is available at various hobby type stores such a Micheals. Then you can frame it in what ever frame, maybe even with non-reflective glass. By backlight, do you mean to mount the frame/box some distance off the wall and place a light behind it? If the article is dark coloured, the contrast between the bright wall and the article will hide the detail of the tooling. You can see how some articles are mounted in this video. And a tour of Jim Linnell's studio on Facebook.
  23. Message me the URL you are trying to display. If it is a file size problem - here are some suggestions: If your files are too large to post here due to file size restrictions, you need to resize your files to fit. Follow this link for some helps and suggestions. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/15122-how-to-post-pictures-on-lw/?do=findComment&comment=551171 There are lots of Apps, software, and online tools available on the web, or even built into your device to enable you to reduce your file sizes. 800 pixels in the longest dimension is quite adequate. Smart phone screens and many monitors don't display high res files in high resolution. People that live on the fringes of the internet appreciate smaller file sizes and high res photos may take from 10 minutes to hours to download.
