  1. Awesome bag, Tina! I love it. Everything I see works well together. I also really like the way the leather looks. Almost like an old piece, especially on the dragons. To be honest with you, this looks to me like an item to be kept in a collection. Really good work, girl!
  2. Wow, neat experience. I'd like to try my hand at metalworking one day. Sure would be nice being able to create my own conchos and such. I have so many ideas in my head, just not enough time and money to make 'em all!

Wow, beautiful work, roo! I really like it!
  4. Beautiful work, zman! 30 years of not working leather, eh? I don't believe it
  5. Glad to hear you saved your files. Sweet dreams!
  6. Ok, will do. Thanks again for your help, Tom, and I hope you get all those photos safe and secure.
  7. This are neat, Tom! Great work!
  8. Beautiful work, Art! I'm especially impressed by the tooling on the notebook.
  9. Nice looking! I like it I'll have to try making one especially that now, I don't have any excuse for not doing it. What a great idea, using plastic cards to stretch the leather and form it. Hadn't thought of that. Thanks!
  10. Ah, now I understand! Thanks for the info, Ken. And just so everyone knows, I will also be posting a tutorial on the item I made once Ken has received it.
  11. Ok, I'm even more confused now I know, I can be dense sometimes. You mix the mahogany antique with black oil? The mahogany antique itself already contains black oil? I've only used Tandy's antique finish so far. Is the antique you mention a different product? That tube is looking good so far! I'll be sure to keep an eye on the Show Off section!
  12. Black oil? I'm confused. You mentioned red oil and mahogany antique. The black comes from... Softmovies, eh? Not sure I wanna know what you'd call hardmovies!
  13. Thanks for the picture, Tom. It really looks cool. I like old weapons, not only were they effective, they were also works of art.
  14. Beautiful work, Mike. Love the pattern and the way the scroll goes out of the frame.
  15. Thanks for the info on how you dyed it, Tom. I copied it in my tips file and will definitely give it a try.
  16. Thanks for the info, Tom. I sure will keep my eyes open for your tutorial
  17. Wow! Beautiful work, Tom. Can hardly wait to see the finished product and I sure love the colors you put on the leather. You'll have to do a tutorial on how you obtain those colors
  18. Out of curiosity, I did a quick search on Ebay and came up with a whole bunch of empty baby food jars for sale. I'm still amazed at what can be found on Ebay!
  19. Good idea there. I wouldn't call it one of your "scrap pieces", it turned out well! I like it when I see other images than Sheridan being tooled. It's giving me ideas on how I could achieve this too one day.

Addicting, you say? I no longer have a kitchen table, it's been converted into a leather workbench! Good job on the figure carving!
  22. I don't know, but I'm sure someone here will know what to do. However, I would love seeing pictures of it, it it's possible. I love old pieces which have a story to tell.
  23. Just simply beautiful! I like how you blended the colors and the bronze gives it just the right highlight.
  24. Froghunter - Beautiful work on the buckle. Now, why do I feel pressure to quickly improve my work? How did you lace around the buckle plate? The blank buckles I've seen don't have holes for lace. Beaverslayer - You sure are multi-talented! What a beautiful box.
  25. Neat work! I like the way you've blended the skulls in this one. Yup, we definitely have a new Sheridan style!
