No it is not....take the $500. and buy a Consew with a walking foot.Now this machine will not sew Holsters.It will top stich belts and you can make a lot of Bilfolds with it... or put about $2000.00 with the $500.00 and buy a Heavy Duty Machine from one of the Advtisers on here.....I N H O.

Julie ..... Glue large pieces together then cut into strips.

that machine is set up for 138 thread i can sew 2 thickness of 5 oz with no problems or 1 layer of 9-10 oz if the leather is not too firm. that is one fine Machine. I got it at "Nick O Sew Sewing Machines".

Hello there...Ray you need to get a more agressive tread design on the tires. Have a look at the tire treads at your local Tire Dealer ,you will see an Off Road tire. Now that design will be a little more road noise.But this is the choice for you. -
Thank you Bob...Weather is Hot.....Humudity is High and Hotter weather is comming and Hell is comming with it..Yes i will be in the shop. Next week i have 4 sides of chap leather to cut and sew, 2 pieces 18 feet by 15" i'm dreading it. I'll have to do the cutting on the patio with 2 fans blowing.

I beleive you got a Scalphal (sp). now to find a Blade to put in it.

I say this about the Maul one has to get used to it. then you will never go back to a Mallet. also i use two different mauls and they are Rawhide....

If i were you i would try using some Acrylic Paint. Apply it with a cotton swab..
