    The oiled leather is not going to take the impression like Veg tan leather will. Also if you try to put letters in the old oiled leather there is a Great chance that you could cut thru the leather. The only way i would do it is to stamp the horse name on new leather then sew the piece of leather onto the bridle.

    An Electric Razor will work...Ok after you get the Hair off what will you the leather for? You do know you will not be able to get the Hair Focills out. Why not just make items with Hair on Cowhide.

    Yes you are right...BUT she will do all her lacing like that and it will come back and BITE her.What happens when customers say ..."you laced it backwards and i dont want it". I M H O..........

    You are improving a lots .....but the look of your Lacing ...you got it backwards just saying so you can correct this on your next projects....I did that Once....

    One thing to try is to install a 2" pulley on the motor. that will slow it down.

    BB.. have you thouhgt about cutting it yourself with the tandy Lace Maker.? most of the people i know that do lace is for braiding and i see that you need a much thicker lace..just a thought. Also if you dont want to cut the Lace yourself....Buy the leather in the color that you want then ship it to me and i will cut it into the lace that you need...just a thought.
