Dont know where you are getting this information. It seens like , to me and anyone else on the L W that owns a Tippmann Sewing Machine, has the upmost respect for these Folks.
at the grocery store...ask in the Meat Dept if they would give you some Butcher Paper
then trace the pattern out. then glue to what you want to. This is what i have did many times.
THAT JUST SUCKS...........I had the same problem with a 5 'n'1 machine...no response from the seller and e-bay was NO HELP...i will not buy any mechinal items there now,
what the saying "buyer beware"
This is what happens when you try to cut thin, soft, leather.
when i have to do this type of work i use a straight edge clamped down over the leather
and cut with a Roller Knife.
I would get a spool of 207 thread, mine works better with the smaller thread on the bobbin.
I M H O ........
Have you thought about how you will mount the machine for sewing ?
I did something like that a while back.I made a two pice hollster and just sewed it to the Boot Top. Hopefully his Jeans has room to pull up to get to pistol.....
Trust the Folks that you will be buying from. Tell them what you will be making with the leather you are buying.
Also you need to spend some time in a Leathercraft store.......
