  2. Those are some fine looking Mocks......much like the Apachie Mocks........ PS. if you could draft that Mock in patterns up to mens & ladys sizes i honest beleive you could sell the patterns......I M H O.

  4. Thinking this is where you might start,,,E-BAY that is where i found the one i have. Looks like a Rotary Punch but the Tubes are stored on a bracket on the handle.
  5. Loot, draw an oval around your makers mark, then experiment with the mention tools i do beleive any of them will work.. what size is your makers mark.........i'll do a coupla for you tomorrow.
  6. Have you looked at the Tandy Craft tools there are some camofloge, veiners and basketweave tools that will be good for you to use.
  7. TANDY....SPRINGFIELD LEATHER.....will have the blades you need.
  8. Suicide... this is what i have did,,,Lay the deerskin on a piece of metal or on the top of an anvil,then use the ball part of your ball-peen hammer then start hammering along the edge that you want distressed. this will give you a cut line that you cannot get with sissors....experiment.
  9. I was told to only use pure Mineral Oil in my machines..so go to the local Drug store and get it.
  10. yes angelus does make a DYE.........THEY ALSO PRODUCE ACRYLIC PAINT..... If i were you i would use there Acrylic paint and do a Large Pink Ribbon on the bags then Dye the rest of the Bag Black or what ever color you want. They say that the acrylic paint is very permanent, but with a large Bag for an M C one just dont know if it will hold up. The Ribon would be the way to go. if you wanted PINK Bags check with Hide House for Pink Chap Leather.

  12. Gunter....the book is "How To Make Holsters" by Al Stolhman , this is a great book the patterns are kinda dated, but enough information to help make you an expert. I M H O
  13. I really wished i had the pattern to send you ,i don't. But to make this holster for the 1911. Get the Al Stolhman book Making Holsters. there is a flaped holster pattern in the book and also a in detail an article on how you can make the pattern for holsters.Hope this was of help to you.

  17. If you buy that Pattern Pack....also buy the Al Stolhman book on Making Holsters... then you'll have no trouble in making holsters ..
  18. Re cut the base of the Jaws as to where they are a 90 deg angle to the seat. you'll like it better.
