  11. Since you already welded on the hinge I guess the only option you have is to leave the end open and cut around the hinge. The leather won't form well on top of the hinge so I'd cut around it and glue on the bottom piece of leather. Here's a photo of a hinge I use.

  17. Thanks all for the comments Petersenj20, He just won Indiana Bike Week best of show. It will be photographed for Easy Rider in August after Sturgis. Some of the build is documented on his website but down to the end not much posted due to finishing it up. I do have photos though on my computer. I was asked if it had air ride and I mistakenly said yes but it's hydraulic instead. The forward controls are from Excell Componets.
