Good morning...I'm looking for dark brown latigo... like the Havana shade. Can anybody give me a heads up where they purchase their is from and recommend any distributors for a nice leather go in all colors. I currently use Weaver which is great but I wanna expand and look at some other tanneries all help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Question, I've seen many bags with a finished edge using the Mexican braid with fringe... How is this process done....thanks for your helpful -
Question, I've seen many bags with fringe and the edge is braided or whip stitched all together. I'd like to know how this is done, so the fringe is facing front. I did a sample of how I think it's done but need your knowledge to be sure. So, I have the bags edge (if you will/sample) and glued the fringe in place "wrong side" to the back of the bag. I've braided all three together. The fringe is facing front and there are no unfinished edges - looks good....however, I'd like it to lay flater. A bit of wear and it will hang more relaxed...what's your opinion please & thank you so much in advance.

Hey all...question. Using latigo leather for my leashes. On the bolt end for the leash, the leather is so strong its a bit hard sometimes to turn & slip it through the slits i've made. Wondering what folks are using so this slides easier? I do use conditioner but dont want to soften the leather up so much. and I dont want to make the slits too much larger, but if thats the case, i will....any suggestions are much appreciated! thanks in advance.

Lori, I use two overlapping horseshoes for our Double C. Maybe something like that would work for you, maybe three L's at different angles, Lori's Latigo Leather?

I'm looking for the proper way to attach the metal belt tips to leather belts. I've done a couple so far...1st one came out find, but on the next one, the screws tops broke off. Do I have to pre-drill a whole first, do I use lock tight, if the screw doesn't screw down all the way ~ do I use a file to gently file it off smooth? Are the screws suppost to be screwed down all the way? Do I apply glue prior to pushing on the tip? Would like to see a video or get step by step instructions, if anyone could help ~ it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance....Lori

I think they look great! so cute to... I've been asked to make a harness for a little guy. The owner didnt want me to make it out of latigo (that is what i use to make my collars from) Do you think its comfortable for your little dog? no padding? Lori

I have a rawhide mallet that I've used for many years. It is now looking pretty beat, I believe my snaps are not setting correctly cause on the shape it's in....which leads me to my question. What do recommend Mallet or Maul, for setting snaps & rivets etc and sizes??? Which would I choose weight wise???? Could someone give me advise???
