Very nice stitching. Looks great -
I use wine corks and never have had a problem with them. I also made a few tool rolls out of suede for my chisels and specialty stamping tools.

2 Unseen Stohlman Saddles - A 3 Year Post!
capsterdog replied to PMAZZIO's topic in Saddle & Tack Maker Gallery
They are beautiful. The sure show the true talent of Al and Ann, I read somewhere she did most of the hand stitching on the saddles, don't know if it is true. They sure do belong in the museum. Thanks for letting us see them. -

Beautiful, you should teach classes if you don't already. How do you figure all your patterns? It just amazes me. -
Very nice. You did a superb job on the molding around the kindle. Like the the little heart design on the back of the closure strap. Nice touch. You are on your way to some very successful projects. Enjoy!!

From the album: Repurpose a roaster pan lid
Bought a small second hand roaster pan with lid to make a succulent garden for my mother and I had the lid left without the handle, so I decided to make it into a clock with some leather numbers. Punched out the numbers and painted with red cova paint. I sprayed painted with metal hammer paint. I left the blemishes it had to give it some character. I know it is not all leather but just thought I would pass my little idea along. You never know what you can make from a second hand store.© capersterdog
