  1. Could you add me as well, I am over 18....waaaay over Thank you
  2. I am glad you gave a few days leeway to think about this....gonna be fun!!
  3. Darn, I fought with those pics re-sizing on photobucket. Here we go again.
  4. Just stumbled onto this thread; funny as my 9 yr old daughter had a project this week to give a speech and teach her classmates how to do something. Naturally she chose how to make a leather wrist strap. I could not be at her presentation due to my work, but my wife said all the kids had fun.
  5. Ok I am as done as I will get here. I re-sized the photos into photo bucket to direct link them, can't get them straight off my mac. Still fighting the pics on here! I went with Japanese dragons just to be different and colorful. My kids are battling over who gets the Yosemite Sam, still to be painted and copied from a cell of Bugs Bunny "Knighty Knight". Looking forward to June Scott
  6. I have three designs ready to go, but no time to get them started. Maybe with the May long weekend (Victoria Day in Canada)..I've got a 4 days off, sort of.
  7. Wow they are all gorgeous!!
  8. Beautiful work on the case. I have the exact same binos and old leather case from my dad after he died
  9. Thanks for the kudos Sorry my photography isn't up to snuff, will try to improve that. I like the dragon idea; been having a bit of a Koi fish fetish at the moment as well...just saying Looking forward to May challenge
  10. Yeah, that was one freakishly big cow Nice stuff
  11. Nice Belt So would you do the lining like that again? what is the lining material? I often screw up and find a way to bail things out...some times for the better than originally planned
  12. I agree, this is really nice

Yay, finally got to see them play on the tv this year, not too many ice hockey games shown in Western Australia. Thankfully they didn't let me down today.

  15. Looks great Love the car too.
  16. Thanks for doing the challenges. For a hobbyist, it forces me to do a project outside my comfort zone with a set timeline and the slight pressure of posting it for all to see. I have had a blast with March and April Challenges, so kudos to you
  17. Oh man, this project screams color. Yours Tiki was spot on. My kids inspired me from the Hawaii picture; the background is so colorful, the flowers in Hawaii are wicked cool colors... It ain't a cowboy stain project, gotta be bright IMHO
  18. Looks really cool and you did these pieces of history proud
  19. I have guitar strap to make...just bought a Gretsch Electromatic Hollowbody!

a trick to toughen your fingers up....dip the tips

your fingertips in rubbing alcohol and

let them dry...do this several times daily

it will toughen them up quickly

Finger tips are like hamburger now.

He is doing Cars "Just What I Needed" for a school talent show, so we were jamming that.

Wish I learned earlier in life!

  20. Ok I am done. Not original artwork, rather copied from Google with mods. My daughter has lain claim to this as a panel for her case -to-be-made-soon. This month's challenge was totally up my alley as we are lucky enough to go to Hawaii for vacations, so there is a bit of a story behind this. Let's see if I can get the photos up without bursting a blood vessel. Inspiration was this from January 2012 Oahu Sorry they won't direct link from my mac, files too big, me too lazy to re-size
  21. Yes, I am onto the Tiki challenge This celtic patch will go on a bag on something

Yep, that's how we get to keep up with how people are progressing, as well as see stuff that we may not have seen in our "regular" areas of the forum.
