I am thinking no matter what tools are giving to a true craftsman, the magic can still happen.

I think Hide crafters are chrome covered zinc and King's are stainless

I have a steep beveler I like to use from hide crafters PB011 for those tight turns.

I have never seen Game of Thrones. But if this is some of the stuff they're using, maybe I need to start. Well done Sir!

Thank you Sir. -
We heard the university is in the works to buy it for a test facility of sorts. To bad it a pretty decent campground to meet up with my Dad a couple times a year. Oh BTW nice shield.

Also would like to know. If the feed dog is not running parallel to the foot, will that make the item you're trying to sew want to drift off line?

I am trying to run t135 thread in the bobbin. I noticed there is no tension on the thread. I tried tightening down the tension screw but with no luck. the tread as no tension on it. Do I need a new bobbin case or maybe a new tension spring. Or am I on the wrong path on my thinking? Chris

Cut in lightly and very light on the beveler. -
The one thing I could not find on this build was the brass eagle button, so I used some Military surplus lift the dot instead.

My Dad and I years ago decided to do our family genealogy. While doing this I found out a pretty interesting things. One being my Great Grandfather William Schwebel on my Grandma's side was a harness maker in Neoga, Illinois. He then moved North to Davenport, Iowa where he worked at the Rock Island Arsenal. it's funny to think I might be making the very same stuff my Great Grandfather was making all those years ago. What the ironic thing there was a Gentleman(can't remember who it was) on here years ago who had the pattern of a M1911-A1 holster, which I quickly downloaded because that is my carry of choice. I started talking with him privately come to find out he has all the leather patterns from the RIA. It was a few years later when I found out about my Great Grandfather.

I am from East Moline, I have have lived in Indiana for the past 30+ years My Brothers and I meet up with my Dad at a camp ground that is on an old Air Force base or I should say old military housing in Rantoul. We really enjoy that campground.

I think the original pattern is from Ghormley. I wanted a mix the look of the John Wayne's holster with the Virginian's holster. So I put the bullet loops in the front. I also carved the Red River D logo on the holster.

Here are a couple of cross draw holster I made. These holsters were designed by Jim Simmons from his Brazos Jack's wild west series. I don't know if Jim is still here, but thank you for this pattern pack. It was a pleasure to make these.

Would that happen to be in Illinois?

Update: I ran the bottom roller .015 to the bottom of the blade. Left the top roller alone. bottom tension cap might be 1/16" off the frame. The blade is shape enough to perform outpatient surgeries. Shazam.......... Thank Bruce.
