  1. Hi Jess. I'd really like a box of the straps. I make dog collars, etc. Assuming you sell it for one third of the price. I don't need the smaller pieces of scrap, I do't make anything that heavy in smaller objects. I would give you the 75 if you can find out how much the shipping will be. It's shipping clear across the country, LOL. we couldn't be further apart if we tried. Cheryl Sorry, my zip is 05701
  2. Thanks Bill, I just made it like the watch straps. I really like that technique. Cheryl

    Stecksstore

I started out with them on eBay but moved on after a while because they are a Tandy reseller. I don't like the quality of a lot of Tandy's things. But I still have my basic 6 I got from steckstore!! Cheryl
  4. Mat, these watch bands intrigued me so I made my dog a collar using the same technique. It's not as good as the examples you showed because for one I couldn't cut the ends flush and have it flip. I needed he extra weight. Don't know how well it will hold up but very proud of it right now, looks great on my dog.
  5. Someone mentioned I should burnish it Daryl, so going to try. Don't know how much luck I'll have with the python and pull up. We'll see Yin is it real or is it Memorex? Nah that's my good ole Cobra 4
  6. The other day someone asked how a specific set of watch straps were made and we tried to explain them to him. I was intrigued by the design and Skadi needed a new collar so here it is. I'll have to admit I'm pretty happy with it Cheryl
  7. From the album: GOOD PICTURES

  9. Good grief, is there anything you DON'T have? I wouldn't know where to start working in there, lol. Congrats on the move Ray. Cheryl
  10. I must be blind because I can't even see the problem.....Cheryl
  11. I would use a good lather of saddle soap on it and buff it really well. Then you may have to go in through the inside if the finish hasn't worn off and put a conditioner on it. I just use bag balm but there's tons of conditioners out there. Or you can take the finish off yourself and condition it. Cheryl
  12. This always seems to be an issue with black oil dye and sweating. For black use vinegaroon instead. Once it dries it doesn't rub off. Cheryl
  13. The only thing I can think of that might give that look would be airbrushing. Cheryl
  14. Yeldarb I'm ordering this one this month http://www.texascustomdies.com/Products/manual_12_ton_shop_press_clicker_large.jpg because I can't afford a Tippman or one like it. I want money left over for dies I'm getting the smaller one so I don't also have to buy a compressor and it's $600.00 shipped. I will put a thread on here how it works after it gets here. Cheryl
  15. I've had the same thing happen here in VT over a longer period. Spain must have a lot of sun Best you can do to save this piece is lay it out in the sun and shade the darker pert, maybe with painter tape and let the rest catch up. I don't know of anything that will stop the sun from tanning leather. Maybe someone else will. Cheryl
  16. It looks like how Chinese 'Genuine Leather' (big topic on here) is made. First the filler is cut the actual length o the edges of before the leather flips over the other side. Then the one edge of the python is evened up with it and hangs off longer to wrap around. The back is evened up of the other end, then wrapped around the python. At this point the python is wrapped around the edge onto the back. It looks difficult but it really isn't once you wrap your head around it. Good luck. Cheryl
  17. would you sell just one box of the straps big enough to make dog collars out of? Cheryl
  18. The filigree over the beading makes the belt just gorgeous. What a talent you have
