  1. Pull the thread out between the two layers of leather. It would be easy to hide a knot between the two layers.
  2. From the discription they sound like the "Tenax pull it up fasteners".
  3. Do you have a way to take accurate measurements? I have access to lathes.
  4. How hard would it be to make that pin?
  5. You don't appear to be placing the end of your stamp in the impression left from the previous stamp.
  6. These can be found all over eBay for various prices. I haven't ordered a set yet but it's on my list of items to get. http://www.ebay.com/itm/39-Shape-Style-Leather-Craft-Set-One-Hole-Hollow-Punch-Cutter-Tool-Handmade-diy-/181620923844?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a49735dc4
  7. You need flocking to do it the easy way. Coat inside of box in white glue, dump in flocking, close lid, shake, empty extra flocking out and you are done.
  8. Springfield leather. Braid stamping tool.
  9. I would have thought the OP would have figured it out.
  10. I was beginning to wonder if anyone would get it.
  11. Baking soda will draw the oil out also.
  12. Sorry. A dish towel lets the air flow while the bag collapses. Lay the towel under whatever you are forming and you shouldn't have any problems. The vacuum storage bags for compressing clothes for storage work also, the one way valve is super handy.
  13. Good luck taking legal action on a copywrite. See link below. http://grammarist.com/usage/copyright-copywrite/
  14. I would pre-punch the leather. The needle will go through the webbing without punching holes.
  15. Worth a try. Citric acid sounds friendlier than the nitric I used.
  16. Nitric acid. I used it to remove nickel plating from brass. You might have a problem with the steel underneath reacting with the acid. Don't ask me where to get it. We use it at work for passivating stainless steel.
  17. Just a name. They had blacksmith sides also. Now they have Austin shoulders.
  18. I use a vacuum storage bag (for storing clothes and bedding in a compressed state) and a shop vac.
  19. If you consider rivets and thread to be incidental costs you are selling yourself short. If it costs money that cost has to be paid.
  20. Make it a coin pouch and stuff it full of quarters. Same effect in the end.
  21. Can you turn on the adult section for me please. Thank you. Name: Derek Thornton UserName: Thornton IP Address: 209.252.171.100 Email Address: thorntonrimfireinnovations@gmail.com
