I don’t not miss much about Chicago. Maybe beef sandwiches and my internet speed. I’ve been to the Irish fest in Milwaukee some years ago and had a blast. Great town, wouldn’t want to live there

Bob, I retired from the police force in 2015, and I moved here to be with the woman I love! Great move, and I haven't regretted it a single day. If you ever get to Rhodes, let me know. I'll buy you a beer. Or a coffee.

Hey Bob, when I lived in Chicago, we had that same thing in winter. It would dry out so quickly! Now, I have lots of humidity so I get great time with just spritzing!

Bob wont forget. He took your information and he will surprise you one day, out of the blue. That's the way it works. Amen. The sheer audacity of some of what's out there boggles the mind. You wont find a similar tool out there unless you make it yourself. Its always whatever works for you!

This is a pattern that was made by Ed LaBarre for one of his classes. The "craftaid" was made by Grey Ghost Graphics. He makes them for several of the instructors who teach the same class many times. Saves a TON of time in the classroom for tracing. I'm glad the vid helped, in whatever fashion it did

You have just found your business name. Howling Mouse Leather! As for size, some things are easier in larger format, others are easier in small format. For example, eyes are easier when they're small. A three inch wide eyeball is difficult where a half inch is easy. So very true.

Motorcycle Shifter Boot Protector
immiketoo replied to LearningCurveLeatherwork's topic in Motorcycles and Biker Gear
Ahhhhh that is cool. You could do a lot of cool stuff thigh that! My suggestion goes on the bike itself, not on the boot, but it could work. Another option would be to make a tongue that hung from the laces somehow so you wouldn't have to stand on the strap holding it on. -
Motorcycle Shifter Boot Protector
immiketoo replied to LearningCurveLeatherwork's topic in Motorcycles and Biker Gear
Honestly, the best way Ive found is to use white heat shrink around the shifter, but I suppose you could wrap it with veg tan and do a baseball stitch for a cover. Sounds fiddly to me, but it would look cool. -
Apparently nobody else does

Cool scalpel! Peter Main modifies scalpels for much the same reasons. You're in good company. -

It's not meant to be taken literally as Google, as any search engine will produce the same results, but Google it is the most popular phrase when looking of info.

You're very close. Ko Ri Va De and the organization who ordered it is Koryvantes who specialize in historical recreations of greek artifacts. Good on ya! I was unaware of the name of the text and it is my understanding that it was not ONLY the Greeks who used this system of writing, but I just mad the holster. Also, normally this text would be written vertically, which makes sense since its linear. It wouldn't fit anywhere on the holster and be as visible as he wanted so its horizontal.

Faces are my main area of carving. And then the whole human, and hands and feet are tough. Proportions are key. Its even harder when it's someone you know. Ive seen baby portraits that are hideously disfigured, or faces that would scare clowns. Hell, I've made a few of them. One of these days I'll draw a face and try tooling it just for fun.
