thanks, i will go and take some pics today. cheers -
Our local second hand store has a singer sewing machine for sale. It is set into a table for industrial sewing and has a treadle, but also has a 1/2HP clutch motor attached. The number on the front of the machine says 325, but i cant find anything about this model. I know zip about industrial machines, but i know these setups are very hard to find in my area. I pluged it in and the motor sounds good, but the sewing bit didnt actually go up and down, but the belt may have been off its track. Sorry i have so little information, but i would really like to have a machine to sew leather ( 2 x 2.5mm at the most) and would hate to miss this if it would do the job. thanks for any help. cheers

The bangle turned out great...love the two color combo.RC, here is a pic of the inside that i used...i think i wrapped it in electrical tape before braiding..the metal was too slippery. The ball ends unscrew as well.

thanks chris!!!! -
Print photo on a laserjet printer (not inkjet) place facedown on the leather. Soak back of picture in acetone and then burnish the picture..( i use the back of a spoon). Do it in small sections as the acetone evaporates quickly. Carefully peel off the leather. You will get varied results on different types of leather. cheers.

Benlilly, the underside of the lace is beveled, so the outer edge of the lace is thinner and will sit much better when braided. It doesnt have to be only for lace that you cut yourself...the lace in the photo is bought lace that i beveled the edges. cheers
