  3. Here's a little bag i made. The carving pattern is from a group of designs that was given to me by Joe Barth during the Dimensions in Leather 2009. Four braid roo straps that are adjustable. cheers.
  4. I have always wanted to try one of these...so i found a pattern on google and set to work. It seemed simple enough, but it took me forever to get the pattern right then only about half an hour or less to make. I soaked the leather (1mm veg), made, then cooked in low oven to harden abit and then airbrushed. Heres the link to the pattern. http://books.google....20purse&f=false cheers
  5. i usually punch two small holes on either side and thread thin elastic through. cheers i like 1.5 to 2mm i think this is 3-5 oz ????
  6. I love all your bibs, i have just read over the tutorial you did....wonderful information.....just one question...with the velcro, how are you attaching the other part to the tank....i understand that one part is stitched to the leather, is the other part glued to the underside of the tank?? cheers
  7. I love this key fob....can you explain what 1 to 5 compressed and 1 to 7 means?? cheers

  12. Hi julie, i live in geelong, victoria and would be happy to help you. I am not sure what skills you are looking for, but if you have a look on my blog, you will see some of my work. If you think i can help, let me know. I have time off my day job the two weeks after christmas. cheers caroline
  13. Hi, i think i use about 1- 2mm elastic. I punch two little holes on either side of the mask and thread the elastic so that the elastic is a double strand across the back of the head. This way the elastic can be positioned high and low on the head and it more secure. I always leave the elastic tied loosely so the owner can tie it to fit their head. cheers
  14. stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. sometimes i order and sometimes i go and pick, but on the whole i have been happy with their quality...if you buy alot of products it is worth joining their wholesale club and you get 33% off the cost of most things. the membership is $35 a year from memory. cheers
  16. cem, thanks for your post...i was going to order some HO as well, but after seeing what was sent to you, i dont think i will order. I usually order morgan oak from lefflers and it is usually cleaner than what was sent to you. cheers

  19. happy holidays to all my american friends!!

  20. wow, that turned out great!!
  21. very nice and tasteful...i especially like the necklace earring combo!
  22. Congratulations on your second seat...we all learn from our mistakes. My suggestion would be to get some sort of electric sander and finish off the edges. I use a dremel ALOT .... you need to sand those edges so they are EVEN and then burnish them until the edges look like one piece of leather. This will give your seat a much more professional finish. Well done and looking forward to seeing more of your work. cheers
  23. HI all, i finally finished the bike set order.....i was pleased with it all except the dye on the fleur didn't take too well and i couldn't fix it without making it too dark... cheers and thanks for looking
