  1. great pictures!!!
  2. I wear a braided leather bracelet on my right arm and its been there for quite some time and was looking a bit dull. I recently had some tattoo work done...(yes, i am addicted) and it is normal practice to apply Bepanthan nappy rash cream to new tattoos. I ended up with cream on the bracelet so i rubbed it in! OMG...what a great finished it gave. The bracelet looks like new! It gives a very nice shine. Nappy rash cream gives a water proof finish but allows the skin to breath....leather sure likes it. It is about 4 months on and the bracelet looks as good as the day i applied the cream! The product is quite cheap and a little bit goes along way. cheers
  3. Peter Main has a book on coloring leather it is a great source of information about getting the look you require.
  4. Bobby, after the dye, i use neatsfoot oil, then a waxy sealer i get here australia that is mostly beeswax. The final thing i have been using lately is a product called bepanthen,....it is a baby nappy rash product....it gives a waterproof finish but still lets the leather breath. Its my favorite new product.

  14. My latest seat is for the brother of the owner of the Rockn Rolla seat. He wanted a similar style but with the Ace of Spades as the centre. I dont know if i like the little black bits at the top and bottom, but that was what he wanted. Antique stain with some diluted whiskey dye as well. It is so hard on the nerves doing the black dye in the middle.....one drop in the wrong place and you would have heard me scream!!!!
  15. If you go to this link http://earthandliving.blogspot.com/search/label/tutorials and scroll to the bottom, there is a tutorial for the short version.
  16. you can get a generic hard drive and you can get a bigger one....About $70 for a harddrive or $1000 for a new pc!
  17. Hilly, backup, backup, backup......you might just need the operating system reinstalled but harddrives like to give you a hint like this if they are about to go bellyup. I have an external harddrive that backs up everynight. DONT wait..you might be only one restart from disaster. cheers ps if your computer normal does everything you want it to do, dont waste money on a whole new PC...just get a new harddrive.
