Wickett & Craig here, Ferg. I get my leather via mail, and Tandy was always a crap shoot. I've never had a bad side from W&C, and thier #3 leather is better than most of the Tandy#1 that I've used. You can get the "overstock" for a reasonable price, and they'll split it for you at no extra charge. No, I don't work for them either, lol.

Sara, the best thing you can do is find your nearest Tandy store. Most, if not all, offer instruction and inspiration. Good luck, and welcome to the addiction........

Can anyone point me towards a reasonably priced($10-$20) Brass wallet chain? I've searched, and all I've found cost more than I'd ever charge for a wallet, chain or no chain.

I go to both. It's Allentown and Cabela's, or Harrisburg and Bass Pro Shops. Either way, there's dinner at Shady Maple Smorgasbord.

The gold card is well worth it. The Harrisburg store actually has more stuff than the catalog. If you don't see it in the store, ask Monica, she'll find it!

Welcome, JaRay. If you're near a Tandy, definately start there. Where in PA are you? I'm just north of Philly, and I use both the Harrisburg and Allentown stores.Both are great, with helpful staff.

Dang, Billy, I'm coming to your house! We'll be having a pork tenderloin cooked in sauerkraut, a can of Sylvia's black-eyed peas, corn and mashed potatoes. I've started this tradition in my house because of my time down south, we never really did antthing growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
