  1. Welcome, Mark. Very nice work, I'll have to keep you in mind when I wear my Minnitonka's out. You'll do fleece lined buffalo, right?

That's great, Mike. Glad to see you back.
  4. Great stuff. What's the pipe made from?
  5. That's alot more than a director chair! Beautiful work.
  6. The first tool should be Al Stohlman' guide to handsewing. Then This DVD. They'll both set you in the right direction.
  7. Ray, I use the chisel on thinner leather, say sewing 2 3oz. pieces together. On thicker leather it makes the holes too big, although I sometimes will use it to lay out my stitch line on the thick stuff. I use the 1/8" chisel.
  8. A sharp diamond awl will make your life much easier.

I did one back then of a Minuteman and the Liberty Bell from a Tandy craft-aid. Certainly not as nice as yours, but you're right about the interest back then.
  10. Got mine yesterday. Definitely bad ass!

  13. Are you selling them? I'll take a XXL! Never mind, I went to your web site!
  14. The Tandy snap/rivet setting tool kit comes with a long narrow anvil that would fit inside that pouch. Use needle-nose pliers to get the post down there, push the cap on it, slide the anvil down there and set it.
  15. Careful application with a paint brush, I would say.
  16. Spinner, be prepared to be amazed! It's awesome

  17. There are a lot of people here, myself included, who like to see others work, but don't really feel qualified to critique it. I just looked at your work, and it's not horrible at all.
  18. Doug, I was just in the shop and checked, on all the boxes I've gotten from W&C, the invoice is in a plastic bag glued to the outside of the box. None on yours?
