  7. I started making knives in1999 so I've been trying to learn leather work for my sheaths.

  9. Nick it looks like a tough rig,,the knife looks like a Busse,, I like the edge of the sheath and belt looks like you put a lot of work in them. PS: did you want the strap that short after the snap or would it work a little easier if you left a short tab??

  11. Q: how can you tell the difference between steer and horse meat when you go to a restaurant. A:when you swallow, as it gets half way down, yell "WHOA" if it stops,,,you know if it once wore a saddle

  15. oh,,I have another question,, can you apply the liquid latex over a colored area of leather for a second round of coloring the leather??

  17. I like it,,but i have no advice cuz i don't know how to use a sewing machine. wonder if a layer of felt on the inside might be an upgrade??

  20. i like the one in the middle the best,,they are all good but the middle one makes the seat look thicker (padded more). and yes i am crazy an cross-eyed lol
  21. Romey I have tryed to stabilize using a vacuum and kurrs jars that will hold the vacuum for weeks. I was using "spur-resens" because of the very thin viscosity and mixed a dye agent into it so i could map the progress. after a week under 25inches of vacuum i only got 1/16" inch of penatration (except at faults/checks) it would pull the air out of the wood in about an hour (no more bubbling). not much sucses. I am trying to get a pressure chamber made from a hydrolic cylinder that will hold 5,000 + PSI (safely) and will do more tests.
