howdy friends Dad is work on a Fezz case and the guy would like a fly fishing hook on would some on have a patter that I could get for him. Would love all the thought you might have about making one. Have thought of adding some deer hair sewed on it to make it like real fly. thanks for your help Russ

Well my first thought of a cowboy's truck would be a 72 ford 4x4 the tall ones . With a stock rack on it with one or 2 saddles tied to the rack with a 30- 30 in the back window. This is my first thought of a truck. AS looking back in the 80 as I roped a lot it was a stock trailer 6 x 16 and a crewcab pickup. Was way up town it had A/C in but still hand crack windows and no power locks lol in the 90 was horse trailers with dressing rooms and nice trucks and some made over 2 ton turcks to pull th trailers for the rodeo guys back on most working ranches we have a old pick up to feed and take care of the cows and fence and wish we hand a nice new truck to drive to town and show off but with gas going and calf pirces down we just have to keep driveing the old ones and watch the rodeo guys drive by in the new little peterbuilts made up to pull trailer as thay go by with the big long trailers with the living quarters in them. so I might say all trucks are used just have to deside what cowboy your taking about thanks for your time on my thoughts Russ

For chistmas I was lucky enuf to get a set of Gomph-Hackbarth Tools the tools are vary nice shaped and i would say as starters the mid price at 145 for 15 of them. Now Im not shere of the price of there others tools or if they have a cataloge but i just call them day hope to hear back from them soon. My wife ordered the set fron Seigel of CA. Russ

Working on my last pair of chinks I was cuting on a folding table that is way to low and kills my back. So here is the question for every one that cuts or tools. How tall of table to you like and how tall are you . As the hight of the man changes the hight of the the table needed. I used about the same on my calf horse for the second rope you know back two to use them lol. If some one would have a old western horseman roping book it showes like 3 ways to hang the second rope on for triping or calf roping. Russ
