  2. try flitz one the silver it works great. Use a old tooth brush to get in the little spots and make shere not the wife's good brush. lol please post pics of it Russ

  7. well I dont have one but from what I have seen the bottom plate is tall so you have more room for leather to move on the bottom. May be some one that has one can pipe up and tell use more Russ
  8. well some things that might help 1 try a storter stich help you move 2 may want to cut or buy a open inter foot so you can see the needle hit the leather 3 do you have the holster plate Russ
  9. Well first I would talk email the guys selling machines in the use and tell them what you want to do. Thay will try to help you with the right machine for you. Never hurts to look and see what is out there. Rember to get a little biger then you think never know what you might sew. If you get a arm modle get a table to go on for the flat work you may have helps a lot on mine. Next I would email Elton or Bob from up north and thay may be able to help you find one up there like you need or help you with shiping from the USA. Just a little food for thought. Russ
  10. When my mom recieved the word about concer some one send her a rock with HOPE pained on the top of it. With a note that well a need a little hope. One day she ask dad to make some hopes out out of leather. So he stared to make leather hopes some with a cross on top and some with a praying hands and the word hope on them as the leather is nice to hold in your and work. his are about 1 in by 6 with a hole to put on key chain. At last cound he as made over 500 and give to fokes and thay have been sent all over the world. he now make some with ASAP on them for alway say a pray on them. thanks for leting me brang on my Dad Russ

  13. well last year I jumped off the deepend and bought a compound foot machine that will sew 3/4 in. I LOVE IT works great and beeing biger i dont have to worry about can the machine sew it. Save your change and bet a nice big one to do the job you will love it in the long run Russ

  15. I just redid one and for a office bag for taging calves. I made the center sectoion longer to let it hang down on the side of the horse more. works great. Part of the time I use it in front of the saddle this makes it lower and out of the way to rope. Russ

  19. As this pair has taken most of the spring and some here thought thay may never get done. There done just in time for branding. The body is light tan buff with nice tooled yokes and sides with acorn brown color. I added the blue as a high light and think it looks cool. Yes some my stiching is not as smoth and even as it should be but for my first time on some so big I dont think was to bad ill do better on next ones. thanks all and hope you like them. The silver is from Hanson's I picked up last year in sheridan.
  20. Ray we just did that to our new toro. Dad cut and smothed out about 25% or the loop in the front and now you can see the needle going helps a lot and love it Russ
  21. that is them but they are high priced there i buy a box of 100 for that. Those are solid a pop rive has a nail thing coming out of them might check the farm equp dealers . Russ

NoahL stop by your local farm store like Running or tractor supply and ask for sickel rivets for mower or swather thay should have all kinds for you. these will be steal ones most with round heads. Make shere to peen them one vice or some think hard not on your marble or it will brake it for shere. You can by sets or just use a ball peen hammer to set them. Russ
