      At least potty-training is easier?

  3. Another package, this one from the Winter residence :-) I'm overwhelmed by the generosity shown here! (see more in my Wanted post about knives)

  4. I'm set now, thanks :-) Beyond set! The generosity is just amazing. I feel truly blessed.
  5. I've now gotten THREE packages from the wonderful folks here. Thank you all so much! Got one from the Sherrill residence today, Joe out in Montana sent me a package, and of course the one from Wyoming Slick. I am so fortunate to belong to this terrific group!
  6. That is beyond gorgeous.
  7. I sell them in the 6oz size, Tandy kit variety, for 30.00 and up. Someone brought me their flask, and wanted grape leaves/vines - they were a regular customer and I also charged them 30.00. For that pattern, had I bought the flask myself, I'dve charged them more.
  8. Wyoming Slick rocks! Thank you :-)

  9. May God bless you richly!!! The box arrived today. With your amazing kindness, I will be able to offer more classes in the area, and keep costs low for the students. I'm stunned by what some local artists of other media charge for classes - it's no wonder they don't run, no one can afford to take the class!
  10. Mine is from Jeff Mosby of Grey Ghost Graphics. I'm a satisfied customer!
  11. Glad to hear all went well with resolution! I do have to agree that there are times (not all, though), that my own attitude upon entering the store affects how I feel about the service. I've been in retail long enough to know there are some customers that walk in the door in a bad mood. Even then, I feel the store has the burden of providing excellent service. That's what they're there for, after all.
  12. I've met Aubrin in person, and both in shop and via phone have had good service there. I also really like the Charlotte, NC store.
  13. Shane, thanks for the feedback. I've dealt with Tandys that had great staff...and others not so great. I guess it's a sad fact of life for any chain of stores.
  14. Thanks :-) PM sent
  15. George Hurst from Hidecrafters was AWESOME to us when I volunteered with 4H up in Pennsylvania. This class will be all ages, and I'm looking forward to it. Thank you, Deb, and you too John. I'll let you know when the package gets here :-) I got a call from another board member who's sending me a knife as well.
  16. I've always kept a box set aside with supplies in it for teaching (extra mallets, tools, sponges, etc). I've not taught in a while now, and in my mind somewhere was the thought that there were 10 basic swivel knives in there. As I was straightening things up today, prepping for my classes this weekend and next, I discovered there are only three!!!! So far, I've got 6 students signed up. The class max is 10. I don't mind a certain amount of sharing, but 4 (inc. my own) is really straining things. Of course, this is my not-so-prepared in advance self begging, but if anyone has some low-end/starter swivel knives they'd like to send me (I can't pay for them, so I'm imposing entirely on your generosity), I'd be really ecstatic. 17. The class will run (so far I have 6 enrolled), and I hope to run a follow-up as well in the coming months.
  18. We get flyovers frequently - the New River seems to be a favorite site to practice "strafing" (spelling?) Honestly, I love seeing the fighter jets and my 6 yr old son and I see who can spot them fastest. Sometimes they are low enough to rattle the windows.
  19. Wristbands were what led me to try segmas again too. They are just way too much frustration for me. I've tried several different ways of setting them - in fact I think there's a really good free video on it on Tandy's site, but I'm just not gettin' it.
  20. I get my stuff from Tandy too, and use their setters also. I prefer their line 20 snaps - I too have no luck with the segmas.
  21. can't believe it's been 5 yrs!

  22. Wishful, how about I copy it and put it in the mail? I'll see if I can find my original. If you want a paper copy, get me your mailing address.
  23. I emailed it to you, let me know if it's not clear and I'll try again.
  24. I'm hopeful this will be an ongoing thing. Will see how/if the July session goes. Where are you at?
