  1. My Mom acquired three sheepskin rugs. They are white, no dye, and have about a 3 inch pile on the rug. I would like to know how to go about cleaning them, obviously without ruining them.
  2. Nice job on the stamping and welcome to the forum.
  3. Good job and welcome to the forum. Love me some old smokewagons.
  4. Awesome job! Would like you to explain the resist process a little more, not following it.
  5. Beautiful work. Wish I could carve and tool half that good. Excellent job.
  6. Very nice. I like the contrast in the second rig.
  7. Awesome job! I love my 1903. It is a sweet pistol and I too have made numerous holsters for mine.
  8. You say it's not perfect..... but dang that is gorgeous! Well done. I love the color.
  9. Very Nice. I love my Colt Hammerless. They are awesome conceal carry weapons (as far as concealability, not so much on the knock down). I like that burgandy color. What is the dye?
  10. Congrats! That's a lot of work for hand sewing. I made a lot of holsters that way and then finally saved up enough pennies for a machine. Enjoy the new hobby.
  11. Very nice. I like the reinforcement piece. Good job. Has the customer had any feedback on the J hook?
  12. Nice work Dave. Very cool tooling. I like the mountain scene. Did you dye the background/sky ?
  13. Looks really nice. Agree with your statement about needing to fit a little tighter. Excellent for your first holster. I like the lacing and the stamping. They look really good.
  14. Looks good. I like the color. It looks to have a red hue to it. Maybe its the picture? or my monitor?
  15. Just a word of caution. If you are going to order horse butts from Zack White you better call them first to see what they have on hand. I made the mistake of ordering 4 and had to send 2 back. I called and spoke with Rhonda and found out that they are very low on horse butts and she was not sure they had much in stock at all if I wanted replacements. I said no I'll just send these back. So be cautious. My opinion is that these last of the stock are what's left after the nice ones were used up. The ones I had bought last year were really nice and I admit I made the mistake of expecting them to still be just as nice now. So again. Be cautious and I would call and speak with Rhonda before ordering.

    Rjf Leather

Just wanted to pass along that I just ordered a grade 1, gum backed double shoulder from RJF. Mr. Roger Folmar was very nice to deal with and did a marvelous job of sending me an incredible piece of leather. I have not seen this nice of a piece in a very, very, very long time. If you need a really nice piece of leather for holsters this is the place to go for affordability and quality at the same time. Definitely will be ordering from here again.
