  1. I was just informed that the Cambell machines were lease machines and the Randalls were bought machines. Meaning that the serial number on the Cambell machines should be called in to make sure they have a clear title before you purchace it. If they do not and you buy it, the machine will be taken away from you by Cambell. You then will have to pay Cambell for a complete machine rebuild and not even have a machine. That is one of the biggest crocks I have ever heard. Cam someone please elaborate on this? Thanks!
  2. Well, I have came up with some of these items. Still looking for anything to do with harness making. Thanks! Ryan
  3. Did you have the cast iron no. 2 machine? Once you know how to set them up correctly, they are great little machines. I use mine mainly for driving staples.
  4. I just started the search for one. I do have some parts, razor feet and plates and 3 sets of pricker feet (5-12) for this machine. Something will show up eventually, I hope. Did the Old Cow poke treat you well on this machine? Thanks, Ryan
  5. The standard rivet company machines are great. The number 2 machine of theirs is very versatile and are very good for setting spots and staples. Better to buy used because they are around 600 bucks new. Just stay away from the alu castings made about 20 years ago. They did not hold up very well to wear. I have 3 number 2 machines I use daily. It is best to find old used anvils and dies for these machines. The new one are not that great. Their auto spotters are second to none. They are refurbished units about a hundred or so years old. They are also very good to do business with. Good luck!
  6. Landis 1 bobbin winder is now unavailable. I give it to a local Amish yesterday.
  7. I know it looks a little different, but will it work?
  8. I am looking for a cambell-randall needle and awl machine for a fair, reasonable price. You will not make a half of a years salary off of me! lol Thanks! Ryan
  9. Weaver's will give you your money back for these feet. No need to lose half your money. Just thought you should know.
  10. Hey is this the same as a Landis 1?
  11. Ray, They are $4.15 a piece, not set, from Weaver. Does your machine have a 3/4 shaft size?
  12. I see Merkle is still in business. Are they that much not to buy new? Thanks
  13. Hello! I am looking for some machines needed to make box looped buggy blinds and uptugs. Embossing dies, embossing vises (the ones that look like drill press vises 2 and 4 inch), manual screw press, blind molds, winker stay molds. Please help me, these are so hard to find. Thanks, Ryan
  14. K, Yes you can buy a complete machine from Beilers Manufacturing and supply. It is $385.00 without any dies or anvils. Give them a call @ 717.768.0174 and have them send you a wholesale supply catalog. Ryan
  15. I will sell the head for $75.00 plus shipping. What do you have for trade? Let me know what you think. Thanks, Ryan
  16. I do not have the Randall hand crank model, but I have a Randall belt driven hole punch machine and it great! I use it as much as I use my sewing machine. A great machine to invest in.
  17. How big of a piece are you trying to spray? Go to your local paint store and get a cheap paint viscosity meter. This will check the correct viscosity of the resolene, which in turn will give you a number that you can look up in your A.B manual to obtain the proper settings for you A.B..If it is too thick, thin down with water.
  18. Just saw one sell at the Weavers auction for 400 bucks the other day.
  19. Great topic Ray. I live in Kenton, Ohio and the only thing here is corn fields and old order Amish. We have the largest coon dog field trials in world, which got canceled this year for some unknown reason. I live 18 miles north of the highest point in Ohio, Bellefontaine. Just south of Bellefontaine is Ohio Caverns and the Piotte Castles. Ohio has a lot to offer. Let me know if you ever need a place to camp out while in the states. I am an hour and a half south of Lake Erie.
  20. I wish you were not so far away. I have a super nice one collecting dust.
  21. We are having a cool summer here so for compared to other years. The heat just kicked in today with super high humidity. I live in north-western Ohio, USA. How cold is it there? 90 degree F here today.
  22. Ryan, I have a champion wide throat and a Singer 97-10 I use. They both sew great. I was just out of room and so was everyone else I knew there. It was a lot of fun to say the least. Is there also an auction at the harness man's get together in Ky? Thanks! Ryan
  23. I went and had a great time. I bought some super nice leather machinery for super cheap. I overloaded my truck big-time! I think the bidders were asleep the first couple of hours! lol I bought about $8000 dollars worth of items for about 250 bucks. I really wish I would have taken a trailer. I have never seen these machines sell for so cheap. I pitty you Neel on at least one of your machines I saw sell. I could not believe how low it went. I would have bought it, but I only buy American made machinery. Still tired from the event. lol
