  1. Hey Alex, These are fantastic. I love the wallet: nice and clean. The keyfob style and the color is great. I need to pick up some of that cranberry dye. Question on the wallet, is there a reason for not stitching it through the middle bend point? Just curious, I've never made a wallet before and wonder if it's something technical. Cheers, Andy
  2. That is pretty sweet! I like the stitched look to it and the spikes. Good job! Cheers, Andy
  3. Hey All, So I just got a new smaller stamp set of my logos. Thought I'd try them out on a wristband. Pretty awesome detail in the stamp considering the size as they're both only 1/2". The wristband is 1 3/4" wide. I had a stamp made for each part of my logo to use them in various places on smaller objects (wallets, wristbands, belts, etc.) I got the stamps made from steel through www.phillipsengraving.com Fast turnaround too! I don't work for them, just an endorsement. :-) Cheers, Andy
  4. That's really nice! I was browsing your gallery too and saw your Tippman. Is it hard to hold the layers together when sewing the bottom corners of the gusset to the front & back panels? I haven't set my machine up just yet so any info on how to go about machine sewing my bags up is appreciated. I use 5/6 oz double shoulder. I bet if I go with a lighter weight/different cut it's not too hard, as of now the leather I use is fairly stiff. -Andy
  5. Nice and clean work! Love it. -Andy
  6. Got the clasps from Ohio Travel Bag. Be sure to post yours when you get it done! Thanks Josh! Glad you like it.
  7. Nice work! The first thing I said out loud when I saw this was "that's cool!". :-) Cheers!
  8. Thanks a lot you guys! Glad you like it. Stay tuned, I have another one almost done and I'll post some photos of that as well. Cheers, Andy
  9. Hi Willy! Welcome to the board. Your work is absolutely fantastic! Thanks for sharing with us and nice photography too by the way. Cheers, Andy
  10. Thanks John, I appreciate the comments from you consider your work is truly an inspiration to me. I love when you post some new cases up. I am always in awe! As for the photos, I re-read what I wrote and I guess what I really meant to say was that good product DESERVES good photography. HAHA! Cheers, Andy
  11. I buy sheets of 1/8" plexiglass and cut some of my patterns out with a jigsaw. These work great because they are transparent and rigid enough to cut against. I like writing on them too with a Sharpie for measure points or drill holes in them where rivets go and that sort of thing. They also never wear out like paper does. -Andy
  12. Thanks Tom! I'm kind of glad I live in the land of the eternal sun: Southern California. Makes me appreciate snow and real weather a lot more! HAHA! Thanks! Sadly I don't have a picture of the inside. It just has a hanging pocket attached to the inside of the back. It's just large enough for a wallet, phone, keys, or whatever. The rest of the bag is open for putting in books or her laptop. Thanks again to you all for the kind words! -Andy
  13. That is pretty fantastic work! The thing that stands out most to me is the little shields where the handle straps attach. I love the fact that you worked those into the design in the tooling. Little attention to details like that really send this over the top. Cheers, Andy
  14. Thanks a lot! The swivels are called trigger snaps. I got them from the local Tandy Leather. The back distressing is my usual dry-sponge pat on the dye technique. Comes out pretty sweet this way and makes them look really rustic and with a lot of character. Cheers, Andy
  15. Thanks a ton! Photography is just another hobby of mine. Kind of helps out with my leatherwork. The nicer the photos, the nicer the product.
  16. Thanks everybody! Time to go mend my fingers 'cause they are raw! Hand stitching for hours really gets old quick! Time to get my machine up and running. Cheers, Andy P.S. Oh yeah, a double compliment from Storm! Thanks dude! HAHA!

  19. Hey All, Here it is... another laptop/messenger bag. This one was custom made for a client. She wanted her initials on the back somehow. Came out pretty nice. All hand stitched. Cheers, Andy
  20. Cool work no doubt! Love the hexagonal inlays. And yeah, what the heck is it for? Cheers, Andy
  21. Yeah, what he said! That set is very cool. Welcome aboard.
