  1. Thanks, I'll check that out. WOW......that's 160 miles from Arthur!! A bit of a stretch for his horses! Are you a highpower shooter?
  2. Thank you! I was down in Arthur last weekend and wanted to stop in but time was a factor. We were picking up a nice John Deere wooden wheel farm wagon east of him about 25 miles and were in a hurry. I'll be heading down to that area in a few weeks and will make it a point to stop in. He's kept my Landis Nr.1 in parts, shuttle, needles and knobs.
  3. Eli Schlabach (217) 543-3464. Landis Sales & Service is located at 115 E CR 500 N, Arthur, IL 61911. This location is in Douglas County.
  4. Butterfly steaks from the tenderloin, or round steaks for dinner tonight?? Oh, nice Machete and scabbard:)
  5. Thanks Bruce. Aging brain cells :(( I bought a nice set of strap end punches from him, handled, not hammered.
  6. I've purchased tools from Don...... (not Gonzales) near Dulce, NM. Does anyone know his last name or contact info? DLVtoys? Thanks, Mike
  7. I wrote the European distributor. They contacted the maker and said, "The manufacturer states that the thread is "M10", I hope this helps." She did not specify the thread pitch.
  8. Is this the thread, on the bottom of the punch? It is from their website, but no thread data.
  9. How does it work after sharpening?
  10. Yeah Chuck, gotta watch for invading Abalones!! Nasty buggers!
  11. Nicely done. I like the steel toed sandles too!! Love my Landis Nr.1. God bless.
  12. Wiz, Thank you. I had a similar problem and changing twists cured it. God bless
  13. Wiz, Do the curlicues have anything to do with the twist of the thread, left vs. right?
  14. TIG weld with nickel rod. pre-heat & post heat. cool slowly in insulation. we do this alot at work. Yes, excellent advice.
