I have a booth at a gun show. Funny story. i have been going to the same gun show for a few years. same venders i noticed an old single shot 20 gauge shot gun on a rack. Boy wants $200.00 i offered him a $100. no sale next year, same gun, same gun rack. same offer. NO next year, Same next year, i said are you tired of dragging that ole shotgun around year end year out? He grinned and said Heck no. It draws in guys that offer $100.00 then buy something else for $300. LOL.. -

I did not find the old thread, But I remember an old thread about different ways to punch holes in knife sheaths or any thick leather Here is 4 layers of 9oz veg tan. each side is 8mm thick So the total thickness is 16mm On my pattern. where the corner is that the stitching starts on both pieces when folded over. I fold the pattern over and punch a hole transfer the marks to the leather. Then set my windividers and scribe a stitch line. I use the transferred mark as the center of the starting point of my chisel. I punch the scribed line. then come back and re-punch it a little deaper. The chisel does not go all the way through but you can see a pin hole on the back side. I use an awl to finish the hole. on this holster, i sewed it with out any problems,
