another money saving trick. If your hammer gets wore out, you can replace the polyurethane with a polyurethane skateboard wheel or buy a wheel and make your own , might want to buy an axle also.

Casual Stamped Belt
Frodo replied to seagiant's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Beautiful belt. good craftsmanship , messy work bench, looks JUST like mine here is an idea for you. I have started installing grommets in the hole where the belt buckel comes through. I like the look, and customers ilk the idea the leather is not going to stretch at that point. You can also get creative by using contrasting colors. -

My New Workstations. I Wonder How Long It Will Stay Clean
Frodo replied to AzShooter's topic in Member Gallery
I gotta be the wise arse of the group. this is what I picture The first time someone goes grocery shopping the stuff is going to get set on your work station. Then a ''whatever'' will appear out of nowhere You will set it on the floor but the whatever's will keep coming one after another. A clean desk is a magnet for whatevers to lurk about. LOL Nice personal space. should serve you well Can I make a suggestion? go to home depot, they have some black yellow storage totes . you can stack 2 and they are the height of your work table. and will keep your leather projects clean , i put a 2'x4' plywood on top and use it as a cut station/ storage -

Frodo replied to SheltathaLore's topic in Sharpen it!
do you have access to a belt sander? tilt the table on the sander that your work sits on up in the front, the degree of the bevel mount the blade on a piece of angle iron with a bolt in the center holding it to the angle iron slide the angle iron with blade attached against belt sander WHY??? a brass closet bolt??? the head is flat, will not impede the blade -

In The Process For A Wheelchair Mount
Frodo replied to AzShooter's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
I extended the handles on my wifes wheelchair I found that 1/2'' emt found here would fit inside the wheel chair tubing The fit is so close that if you have a burr or ding on the end of your pipe it will not slip inside the tubing so after you cut your pipe, use a file to smooth the edge -

I ran across an interesting math problem that I would like a geeky answer to if possible See the image I did not want to punch holes, I wanted to use my chisels instead, SO I lined my chisel up on the center of the first hole and made holes. I stopped at the end on the center hole In my mind, There is no difference, OH WAS I WRONG this was the bill on a baseball cap, the edge of the bill was 1/2'' passed the spot it was supposed to be the bill had grown by 1/2'' RED PILL ME, how did this happen?
