  4. have you ever wrecked a bike? I have, because of that experience I orient the pockets on my wallets to be on the inside not the outside If my wallet falls out of my pocket a 40 mph. I do not want its contents all over the road with some truck driving over everything. This is a simple 3 piece wallet. it is 8''x8'' and 3''x8'' The 2 pockets is really all need, i one for cash, yep it is empty LOL one for cards

Cheap tools will make your work look like ,LOL Ok. right here I could really get into trouble but I am going to hold my tounge Cheap tools will make your work look cheap. here is an example of what I speak. my compas cost around 8 usd at wally world I used it all the way around both of these pieces of leather Do you see how I am flush on one side and standing proud on the other? I did not want to spend $20 or $30 on a compas, BUT. it looks like i have no choice
  7. my advice, find a machine shop in your area, take it to them and tell them you want the hole welded filled in, then a new hole drilled they usually charge by the hour, i do not see more than a hors work, $45.00 is a fair price for what i see and, YES, cast iron can be welded if you have the right tools and a trained welder

    Cracked clay stone

I am liking that very much. It speaks to my eyes. [that sounds silly. but was my first impression] just a weird thought. If you have a bunch of these, and were to cover them in a clear epoxy, you could tile a back stop or table top

  15. HI, I have some ostrich that i need to finish the edges on. I have never attempted working with leather so thin I am at a loss. any suggestions. here is what the leather looks like
  16. I bought a sheet of bag stiffener or the cover of spiral note book or a file from the filing cabinet and have actually sewed it together, to completion. and then tore it apart to make patterns, sometimes you just have to make do. No template, took a picture off of the internet, glued it to wood and made a template then started making the holster using bag stiffener using some of the original components
  17. NO. they lost it. and refuse to payout the $50.00 insurance claim They say when it got on the plane to go over seas then they had no way of tracking it in other words the insurance they give you is not worth a dingaling

    Covering a handle

This how I cover a whip handle, You need, A a piece of 3/4'' pvc what ever length you need A 3/4pvc cap, for the other end, i use a 1'' coupling, a 3/4 coupling You will need 25 lengths of lace 6'' longer than the pipe 1 piece of lace that will spiral around the entire length of the pipe For the other end saw the 3/4 coupling in half. inside the 1'' coupling is a small pipe stop ridge, dermal that ridge gone the 3/4 coupling should slide into the 1'' coupling push it in half way glueed cover the 1'' coupling with a braid slide it onto the handle that you made, the coupling should over hang the pipe just enough to dress up the edge epoxy the whip into the 3/4 pipe
