In The Process For A Wheelchair Mount
Frodo replied to AzShooter's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
I extended the handles on my wifes wheelchair I found that 1/2'' emt found here would fit inside the wheel chair tubing The fit is so close that if you have a burr or ding on the end of your pipe it will not slip inside the tubing so after you cut your pipe, use a file to smooth the edge -
Any math geeks out and about? RED PILL ME
Frodo replied to Frodo's topic in Leatherwork Conversation
my head just blew up, The emt was called, I hold you directly responsible for my Copays LOL Thank you...Tony already scolded me. bungle in the jungle -
I ran across an interesting math problem that I would like a geeky answer to if possible See the image I did not want to punch holes, I wanted to use my chisels instead, SO I lined my chisel up on the center of the first hole and made holes. I stopped at the end on the center hole In my mind, There is no difference, OH WAS I WRONG this was the bill on a baseball cap, the edge of the bill was 1/2'' passed the spot it was supposed to be the bill had grown by 1/2'' RED PILL ME, how did this happen?

If I do make it again, I am going to put the front panel [with the gusset slits] on the back also. I like the look and the extra room it affords Thank you, I have noticed that in this hobby you learn more than just leather. I can paint something besides a house now!!!!!

Used a pattern from DieselpunkRO I made a few changes, Moved the inside panel to the outside back, This give me a outer pouch added a pouch inside the bag with a zipper, [ I HATE zippers LOL]

Yeah, yours is different than mine, Mine also came from Tony . The way mine is built if you do the beak first you are painting yourself in the corner Get yours going. I would like to see it
-
NO, the difficult part was figuring out where to start and stop sewing. tip --work the beak from the small end to the large end

4'' thick tombstone you can see upper left corner of the picture, it used to have a heart, someone broke the heart, stolen most likely. if you stop by your local monument maker, and look around the dumpster, you might fined a chunk like I found. I asked them if I could have the broken piece of Granite out by the dumpster and she said yes. 17x14x4 inches

Frodo replied to Danne's topic in How Do I Do That?
It is ALL GOOD, I have a very warped sense of humor and sometimes my kidding gets me into trouble because like you say, text is different than face to face -

I mean no disrespect. I used the laughy thing [ ] in my answer. internet protocol is that by using a laughy thingy your post is non confrontational but it is a joke -

best weight of leather for holsters and fixed blade Knife sheaths
Frodo replied to rdhays2000's topic in Getting Started
I use 8 or 9 oz, and on some I double that It really just depends on the gun same with knives. I use a 8 or 9oz also. i hate a wimpy floppy sheath. you can use 2 8oz on the back side and a 6 on the front. There is no rule, you are the artist and the holster is your canvas -

Hey man. I restored an old family heirloom belt that a guys great grand daddy wore There was simply no restore to it What I did was glue the old belt to a new buffalo strip Then hand sewed the old through the old holes into the new leather. It took me about 12 hours of sewing to pull it off and it was tedious work BUT. the guy was happy as hell to be wearing Great Grand dads belt I under charged the guy. My bill was $100.00 cash
