  5. Hello all, I was doing some cleaning and found this 150 yd roll of cotton webbing it is 2.5"and about 1/6 thick. I had bought about 10 rolls of this stuff years ago. I doubled it and sewed it together to make gun belts, I could get about 75 average size belts out of a roll. The dies for the leather ends come with the canvas. The dies will work for the old 1 1/2 inch single jacket fire hose found in hose racks of old buildings as well. $350.00 and it is all yours shipped to your door in the lower 48 other areas we will have to get a cost on the shipping. Pm me with any questions. Take Care Billy P.S. The one pic is of a smaller roll that will come with the deal, I didn't want to unroll it to see how much was left.
  6. Is this what you are looking for? It is the May Issue of Make It With Leather 1984. I have the patt. pull out as well but the inst. were in the July 1984 issue and I don't have that one.
  7. I'm a Firefighter-EMT-P with 19 years on the job. That is what I do for money, my real job is my three boys.
  8. Nice work, they look great!
  9. I took a look at the Stolman knife and didn't care for it. I think you will get more bang for your buck with one of the other makers. Spend the money on a good knife and blade if nothing else, it is the heart of your carving. Berry King makes good ones, Chuck Smith as well. I have Robert Beard Knifes and blades, I love them and would not trade them for anything in the world. Bob isn't making knifes at this time due to issues of parts for them. He still makes blades and I think they are the best around they start around the $45.00 range. Look around at one of the trade shows if you can make one so you can handle different knifes and see what you like.
  10. Here is what I made for mine. Hope this will be some help to you.
  11. I don't let many people take my picture and I'm the one doing the picture taking most of the time. A coworker took this one for a class he was taking while we were waiting for a orders on a possible fire that we responded to. I wasn't happy when he did it due to the damage that could be caused to his camera LOL. Anyway here is a face to go with the name.
  12. Merry Christmas Tim
