  1. THank you, I appreciate it. Steve
  2. Hi mickt, in my opinion, it is not the safety clutch. The safety clutch is doing it's job.....popping out if there is a problem. In my opinion I think it is your stitch length mechanism that is causing the problem. I have seen many machines where the stitch length mechanism is frozen. As Gregg says, it should be looked at by a good mechanic like Bob Kovar or someone with his knowledge. I have done this type of work also, but I am in California, so it would be worth it to ship the machine to Bob, and he can repair it and have it taken care of once and for all, yes it will cost $100-$150 to ship it back and forth, plus the repair, but it will last you 20 years. Thanks, Steve
  3. Hi George. There are a couple of other things you might want to consider. First, make sure that there are no burrs anywhere, especially the point of the hook. Check the timing as well. Even if the machine sews forward, it doesn't mean that the machine is in time. Make sure that the needle does not touch the center foot, the feed dog, or the point of the hook. Call me if you need me. 1-866-962-9880. Thanks, Steve

  5. Hi Doug. For sewing leather, make sure that the feet are smooth bottom so they do not mark the leather. Most industrial sewing machine stores either have them in stock, or they can be ordered. Most of the sewing machine dealers on this forum can get them for you as well. They interchange with the Singer 111/211, Juki 563/562, Consew 206/255, Nakajima 280L, and others. Steve
  6. Beautiful work, Butch! Steve
  7. Hello, I can only speak for myself regarding this issue. We spend at least 6 hours on each machine. We modify, set the different timings and sew each machine off with different leathers, thread and needles. After it passes these tests, we ship. If there is a problem with one of our machines, regardless of whose fault,(if any), we take care of it. It will not cost the customer anything except the time without it. This applies to anywhere in the world. We have a great reputation for service and we will NEVER jeopardize this. I personally stand behind our product, and always will. Thanks, Steve

  11. Hi amuckart. I use the same as Ronnie uses, and we have had no problems. I also agree with Jim regarding the motors, they are much better today then they were 3 years ago, with that said, just about any speed reducer or hand wheel will work on the 600W servo motors. Thanks, Steve
