  1. I got a 16oz Owden I like for various tooling, it's a tapered poly maul. I wish I would have started with a tapered head maul. They are more relaxing to me while tooling. I also got a 24oz Barry king straight head poly maul, for doing makers stamp, letter stamps, & such. Really like it too. Then I got a Zhongjiang 12oz tapered poly maul that I do most of my tooling with. To me it's my favorite for detail work & it just feels right while using it for extended periods. Lol I also got 1 of them 10.6oz blue light specials, as you could say, that I done a ton of tooling with & still use it for my beveling.

  4. That's Dang Sexy! Nice work. Beautiful folder. I'm hoping to get some machinery next year, so I can try my hand at making a folder. If I wasn't strapped for cash at the moment, I would be putting down a down payment to get my name on the list. Stunning work.

  8. Another fastner you might look into. Is the LOXX fasteners. Idk if you can use something like them. But they sure are nice.

  19. Check out weaver leather, they got a 4" buckle for weight lifting belts. I'm sure they got 4" loops/D-rings.

  21. I've made a few knife sheaths, but yes I've also redone/revamped a few of them. I look at it as a learning/teaching aid when I do redo I sheath. Lol i also had some I just did not like & redone. It's good hands on experience.

  23. I recommend Steel Stamps Inc. Tim designed my stamp off of pictures. He was great to work with. My stamps turned out awesome & were sent to me in week or less.
  24. Good luck on the show Bruce, I'm hoping next year I can attend a few of them. I just got way too many things going on this year.
