  1. Thanks. I appreciate it. I just happen to buy a bottle of that dye the other day. I really thought at 1st it was the oxblood color dye. Great work on them.
  2. Thanks. If want to do the job right & make it easier on you. I recommend you buy a knife handle broach. Either thru Alec Steele or black dragon forge. Or you can make one also. Also if you want new brass ferrules for the handles I know a place to get them. You can also repair & reuse your old ones.
  3. If you need more coco bolo, I got a bunch, just let me know.
  4. Yeah TomE I got her as a pup. She is around 80lbs now. She is my buddy for sure. From the end of the buckle to the tongue hole it is 16¾" inches.
  5. Can somebody say SEXY!!! Nice work. They look great. What color of dye is the holster with the Ruger lcp? Thanks.
  6. Lol it's beautiful wood. But I found out it makes me itch like crazy.
  7. Lol I would love to buy it, but that would be a fairly long drive for me. Still doable though.
  8. Get us some pics. I'll help walk you thru it. I'm sure other knife builders will chime in as well to the best attack plan. But pics would help a bunch. Thanks.
  9. Yep this should be a easy fix, as long as you don't mind shaping & playing with a Lil wood. You can purchase the knife handle rivets & the counter sink rivet drill bit thru multiple suppliers.
  10. Yep here is that white leather I bought. I'm not sure what it is. Veg, chrome, or alum tan. But it does wet mold good. It also had a rough back side like veg-tan leather.
  11. Lol I knew nothing of leather when I bought that white leather for that pouch. I do know it wet formed good, cause I later made a phone case for another person. Turned out so good I made another 1 for a display model.
  12. I have bought some straight up white leather before. Had a customer wanting a pouch made of white leather.
  13. OK thanks. Yeah I was referring to the handheld dye rollers. I'm sorry for the confusion.
  14. SUP maybe I'm not sure I looked at the correct craftool pro edge dye machine. What does this craftool dye machine look like. I may be looking/thinking of the wrong tool when I mentioned my Owden brand tool.
  15. Bill I can't answer your sticky question, but look into (Jim Linnel the art of carving leather.) Also check out Don Gonzales, Joe Mellings, Bruce Cheany, George Hurst, they all have good tutorials & training. There are a ton of other guys & gals I know I did not mention, that all have great content.
  16. I don't have the craftool brand, but I did get a Owden brand dye roller. After using it once, I asked myself why I did not buy 1 of these tools 8 years ago when I started this hobby. I personally think they are great, & lots of dye can be saved using 1.
  17. Looks great! Awesome work.
  18. Welcome to the group. Bunch of great people here. Enjoy.
  19. That will be nice when you are done. It might be called a baseball stitch also I think. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
  20. Welcome to the group. Bunch of great peeps here. Enjoy.
  21. Looks awesome! Nice work. Love the paint work.
  22. Institutional gray.
  23. Just search a bit deeper & they sell/make exactly what you are looking for. I think the ones you posted are flat, versus the raised ones like wepster posted. Plus they are made in many different sizes/dimensions.
  24. Looks good. Always glad to see the old machines saved. Nice work.
  25. Welcome to the group. Bunch of great peeps here. Enjoy.
