  1. Nope I've never seen them before. In your 3rd pic, how does them work without a hole thru the leather? What am I missing here? Thanks.
  2. Also I just recently got a ebike & been playing around with the formulas a bit more than usual.
  3. Ok thanks. Did you mention that earlier in this thread. Or I might have read it in another thread. Bladegrinder what do you use for sewing machine oil? If you dont mind me asking. Thanks.
  4. Nope no insult here. I knew the formula's being a diesel technician. I think I will just run a dedicated 20amp circuit to the sewing machine. Thanks.
  5. Thanks. I'll get 1 of them bottles. Do you think a guy should have a syringe oiler as well.
  6. Thanks. The S point needles I want for nylon straps & tarp work. I've read the S point seems to fit the best for that type of work. I have also heard, like you say, that their customer service can be lacking.
  7. All you guys with Cobra class 4 machines, How many bobbins do you all keep with your machine? Thanks.
  8. Thanks LiftPig. I'll get both just to have them. Like you said. I would hate to get caught with my pants down in the middle of a job/project. Thanks.
  9. I think if they wanted loops, I would add a piece of leather to cup the bullet itself. Kind of like a shelf or even a second row of loops to cover the bullet. Like this is what I was trying to explain.
  10. Dont a 7mm PRC have a slight taper to the cartridge. Are they looking for a cartridge holder for hunting? Or a cartridge holder for PRC bench rest shooting?
  11. Thanks. Feel free to share some pics later if you want. So I plan on ordering. D point, S point & LR point needles, but what size should I get for the 277 thread. Should I get size 24 or 25? Or both? Thanks.
  12. Thanks kgg. My outlet is set up for a 20amp breaker. So I should be ok.
  13. Thanks BlackDragon. I appreciate it. I went & read your thread as well on your cobra class 4. Sounds like a 110volt 20amp circuit will carry the load of the machine. Thanks.
  14. Guys & gals what is going to be the best needle size for 277 thread? I see some people say to use a #24 needle, yet I see people recommend using a size #25. Which is best? Also does any1 know what size/wattage servo motor the cobra class 4 has? Thanks.
  15. Yeah I havent found a place you can actually order/buy it from in the U.S. Lol or maybe I did not look hard enough.
  16. Thanks. Yeah it took me a long while to make up my mind, what & who's machine I was going to buy. I've heard their customer service & support is good. I'm hoping I never need it thou.
  17. I'm wondering if that is the cowboy 797 sewing machine. It looks like a nice machine if I'm correct. Lol I'm maybe totally wrong too.
  18. Yeah I think there is a youtube video of the class 4 sewing metal license plates together. I'm hoping it's as nice as everybody says they are. I didnt think I was ever going to get enough money saved up for 1. Thanks.
  19. Thanks JLS, Is the LL point a diamond shaped needle or is it a triangle pointed needle? I think I will get some LR needles for bags & such, just for the decorative stitch. I think for holsters & sheaths the LL needle would be better suited for them. Thanks.
  20. Thanks Bob. Sounds like you got the deal of the week on needles. Everywhere I look, they are priced at $20 & above.
  21. Thanks. I will check them out. Appreciate it.
  22. Guys & gals is a #25 needle going to be best for the 277 thread I plan on using. Lmao I finally was able to afford the machine & cant afford the needles. I did not realize the needles would cost $25/10needles. Thanks.
  23. I've read gunk & grime can build up behind the spring & limit the spring tension on the bobbin.
  24. Thanks. Yeah I been dreaming up stuff to make or at least try to make. I plan on trying/experimenting with it on some kydex sheaths & holsters. I hear of people sewing plastics with the class 4. Kind of planning maybe a canvas tent/tarp.
